POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The peekaboo moment before you’re all the way in the space. Sometimes the best composition isn’t showing everything, it’s making someone want to walk closer!

August marked one year and one month of Glimmers by Dahnya! Some days I’m still in disbelief that this is my life: documenting incredible women and their small businesses for a living ✨

Grateful for a month that had me bopping around town to some amazing places for work. Here’s to September, excited for all the new possibilities it may bring!

I don’t design rooms. I show up, notice all the little details, and capture them with my camera 📷

Here’s PART 1 of Design Choices I’m Loving Right Now. Part ✌🏼coming soon!!

just me and a bunch of my friends, actually getting work done and enjoying it!!!!

we implemented a new ritual this month at the collective: admin am

two hour coworking sprint, ending with a coffee walk debrief

if you’ve been along on the BB ride, you know that when I left teaching, one of the things I was the most afraid of was being alone

the collective has solved that AND given me the best community of women to actually get shit done with

The nursery is complete and the clients couldn't be happier with how it turned out! The wainscoting and gold hardware add the perfect touch of sophistication and elegance.

SITTING AROUND THIS TABLE, HAVING A HOLIDAY PARTY WITH THE MEMBERS OF THE COLLECTIVE, IS A DREAM REALIZED:

when I left teaching, one of my biggest fears was “working alone”, I didn’t want to spend my days in solitude, I wanted to have people and energy and connection around - I wanted to have a COMMUNITY.

And so I quietly started inviting people to work at the farm - we slowly converted two bedrooms into dedicated offices and studios, and the living space and third bedroom into coworking spaces.

Now, it hosts the most amazing group of women:

@allisonermon_photography whos eye for movement and light makes day to day walks in the park, donut picnics, and studio session into literal works of art
@l.louisedesign whose dedication to preserving architectural history adds a beautiful layer of reverence and intention to her interior design projects
@edgeswildstudio who we’d be oversimplifying to call her a florist - she is an artist in every sense of the word
@wildelyorganized who thinks of home organization not as a pinterest worthy checklist, but an opportunity to create systems that serve you throughout all the seasons of your life
@hannah_key_paints whose love of color, layers, flowers, and deeper meanings speaks directly to my soul
@hannah_looseends who I get to watch guide brides and their loved ones through the process of curating the event of their dreams - her ability to extract and embody each bride’s personality and peronify it in event form is a true gift
@vivelaplume.studio whos elegance, composure, and craft comes through in every single piece she creates (and has gotten her recognized by some HUGE brands, coughtiffany’scoughdior)
@barebakery who makes treating yourself easy and healthy and is one of the most intentional business owners I’ve encountered

**everytime I share about these women in stories, I inevitably get DMs asking for a round up of these love-filled, local business - so save this post, follow along with their journeys, and support them whenever you can!!

It’s been heartbreaking to see the news roll in over this past week of the lives forever altered by the central TX floods. It can feel helpless watching from afar. But I’ve seen the heroes at work, ready to jump in and shower these communities with tangible support. We want to help.

From now until July 31, any mentorship service or fine art print purchased will be 10% off: 20% of all proceeds will go directly to organizations that are supporting flood victims and their families.

Email hello@madelineharper.com to book mentorship. Print shop link in bio. ✨ swipe through to see a few print shop favorites.

Hope you all had a fun, inspiring, and rest-filled weekend and cheers to a new week and a new MONTH!

This simple, but impactful guest bedroom is from our recently shot Zilker project - I know I would get a good nights rest here!
