Adventures of the "Unbearable babes and their Cowboy Daddy." 😂 Mad props to @esemae_music for organizing a glorious, gratitude-filled weekend in Big Bear with close friends (@g.la_vieve nice to see you again; @georginatolentino nice to meet you). With all of the tension and turmoil that we are witnessing this year (especially pre-election), it was so nice to get out if the city and immerse ourselves in nature. We walked amongst the colorful trees, breathed in the smell of autumn, watch the sunset paint the shapeshifting clouds above the lake, and watched the full, very rare 'Blue Moon' rise above the evergreens while soaking in the hot-tub, initiating heart-to-hearts. We wrote down all the things that we would like to rid ourselves of and threw them into the fire, as the ritual goes. We also feasted on @tarandflowers' delicious carne asada, sipped on tequila, and read Tarot. Two surreal synchronicities that caught us by surprise (and nearly made us cry) were (1) stumbling upon live music at a restaurant/bar by our house (which made us finally feel "at home" once again) and (2) reconnecting with @theofficialjessjones and @gregsettino after finding out they were also in Big Bear, only 5 min from where we were staying. We all congregated on a quartz rock called 'Eye of the God' and soaked up this time together with such immense appreciation. Human connection is real and necessary. Love you all. P.S. we all got tested for COVID-19 prior to this weekend. #grateful #friendship #bluemoon #bigbearlake #surrealsynchronicity #natureisnurture #humanconnection #findyourtribe #connectioniskey

"It's my born day... "half-way to 70..." 😂 So grateful to be part of a lovely, goofy jam sesh following @esemae_music 's birthday hang at Griffith Park. With @tarandflowers and @ohanthony on guitar and @g.la_vieve and @esemae_music on vocals, I was certainly smitten. Such beautiful music and such hearty laughs. Nothing better than making songs up on the spot about "sammys" (aka sandwiches) and wild turkeys. Can't wait for Round 2. #jam #musicjam #jamsession #musiciansjamming #guitarjams
