L+C made their Maryland micro wedding completely their own ♥️

From croquet at their cocktail hour (a favorite pastime of the bride’s family) to a custom cookie cart featuring their furry friend 🐈 they wanted their day to feel personal.

And HELLO! Did you see the bride’s dress?! 👀

They didn’t try and replicate someone else’s Pinterest board; they designed a wedding that looked and felt completely their own and we LOVED that about them.

✨This is what a micro wedding looks like when a couple actually knows themselves.✨

🎶 The bride is a professional musician so naturally, she got married in the music room at Strathmore Mansion, surrounded by her family. There is something about saying your vows in a room with meaning that no generic venue can replicate.

🏑 Then everyone moved to Zinnia in Silver Spring for dinner, and the evening completely shifted. Friends joined the family, the lawn filled with cocktails and games of croquet and the whole party loosened into exactly the kind of celebration that feels less like a wedding reception and more like a dinner party.

🐱 The details were quiet but considered. The bride’s bouquet was full of texture, the color palette shades of soft greens. Taper candles and votives covered the tables and a cookie cart with custom napkins featuring their cat, which was honestly the detail of the night.

✨A ceremony space chosen because it meant something.

✨A reception designed around how their people actually like to spend an evening.

Nobody was trying to impress anyone. They were just celebrating exactly the way they wanted to.
