Reagan Clancy (@abcya.reagan) is our 2026 Summer Session 1 Athlete of the Day!

The Class of 2027 guard has earned herself a $50 gift card to @nixtaco Mexican kitchen 🏆

From our interactive STEM workshop with @labzeroclub, to a competitive on-court skills session, our athletes were at the center of a unique experience that touched on many different aspects of the game and reflects our holistic approach to player development.

Reagan excelled during the session and presented a wide range of skills, showcasing leadership, athleticism, competitive spirit, high basketball IQ, and an impressive performance in the 1-on-1 competition.

Congratulations to Reagan! We wish her the best of luck in the upcoming season with Wheatland High School, and in her career beyond! 🤞🏽⭐️

Congratulations to our Student of the Day for Summer Session 1, Nyah Jennings!

Presented by @nixtaco, Nyah has been awarded a $50 gift card to the local Mexican kitchen 🌯

Summer Session 1 was a special event that featured a hands-on STEM workshop in collaboration with @labzeroclub, where athletes were invited to engage with computer systems used to study human performance in athletics.

Nyah was incredibly engaged throughout the workshop — providing thoughtful responses that inspired curiosity, reflection, and encouraged group participation and discussion.

In this session, our athletes learned how data from movement, reaction time, and biomechanics is collected, interpreted, and applied in sporting contexts. The result was a demonstration of how sports can be an entry point to STEM by grounding engineering and data concepts in movements students already understand: shooting, dribbling, reacting, and moving.

Summer Session 1: The Science of the Game 🛠️

In conjunction with our on-court basketball skills training, @labzeroclub will lead a hands-on STEM workshop, introducing student-athletes to computer systems used to study human performance in athletics, with a focus on how data from movement, reaction time, and biomechanics is collected, interpreted, and applied in real sporting contexts.

Rather than separating athletics and academics, ARC uses sports as the entry point to STEM — grounding engineering, Al, and data concepts in movements students already understand: shooting, dribbling, reacting, and moving.

We are partnering with @labzeroclub for our first skills session of the summer this Saturday, June 13th @touchshooting.

Summer Session 1: “The Science of the Game” 🔬📊

Founded by MIT and Harvard alumni, LabZero is a mobile STEM lab that focuses on expanding access to high-quality STEM education.

LabZero’s ARC (Athlete Research & Creation) initiative is a hands-on STEM program that embeds engineering, artificial intelligence, and data science directly into athletic contexts, turning the science of the game into a pathway for future innovators.

This program introduces student-athletes to computer systems used to study human performance in athletics, with a focus on how data from movement, reaction time, and biomechanics is collected, interpreted, and applied in real sporting contexts.

Rather than separating athletics and academics, ARC uses sports as the entry point to STEM — grounding engineering, Al, and data concepts in movements students already understand: shooting, dribbling, reacting, and moving.

“Can I really do this?”

That’s the question @labzeroclub answers from day one. By prioritizing the “build” over abstract theory, they’re unlocking a massive appetite for technical learning in our community.

Science, tech, and sports are colliding in the best way possible.

Games don’t become immersive by accident.

Behind every great basketball experience is an entire system working together, from the Courts, hoops, scoreboards, shot clocks, and scorer’s tables, to the player benches, foul counters, LED advert boards, and bleachers that bring the crowd closer to the action.

Most people see the game.
We see everything that makes for a worthwhile experience.

We brought the @harlemglobetrotters to Lagos for the first time ever, secured our first tech partnership with @labzeroclub out of Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and hosted our first international team from Ghana @tusk_officialgh for a game against Nigeria for the Easter International Showcase.

This is proof that Africa can host global basketball experiences at the highest level. Big thanks to @nike for continuing to trust our vision.

Building platforms.
Creating pathways.
Growing the game.

God gets all the glory for continuing to show forth his favour in our lives.

We building this thing brick by brick.

The future of basketball is global.

Thank you to everyone who made this happen.

One thing stands out at the Easter International Showcase:

“Leaving the kids with a true competitive advantage”.

High-level exposure at these early stages already positions them for a more fulfilling 🏀🏀basketball journey, while also shaping leadership tendencies.

This space of play is a strong representation of what’s obtainable on a global level.

Trust us to always deliver 100% on that.

An engineered space per excellence.
