“Give to Gain”…

Is this year’s global IWD theme, for us it is a reminder of how much women have given throughout history and continue to give especially WOC.
We give to our families, Communities, societies, workplaces etc and the majority of it is expected of us.
That’s why we are so proud of being a solution and a space that gives back to women that has always given, raised to give and never asked for anything back.

We are proud to have built, and continue to build, a community of black and brown women that create space for each other, dare to think big together and are being unapologetic about it.

We are proud of being trusted by women that are changing the narrative of what it means to be a black and brown woman in the Nordics.

Today
🌍We celebrate the sisters that are creating more entrance for the change they’ve longed for in our societies.
🌻We celebrate all women and the phenomenal revolution that is the sisterhood❤️

🎉it’s a celebration of us being us on our own terms with a courage that only a trusted community can provide.

Sis, wherever you are on your path of receiving and know that @edgesanddrinks is a place you can always call home.

Happy International Women’s Day 🌷
