Son accueil, sa gentillesse, son professionnalisme et surtout sa façon de gérer parfaitement le mariage du début à la fin ont largement contribué à la réussite de cette belle journée.
Quand on travaille dans un magnifique lieu comme La Creuzette, avec une équipe au top et une organisation aussi bien maîtrisée, c’est un vrai bonheur ! ❤️

Our French White welcome dinner, hosted and meticulously curated by multi-talented host, DeVerra at @lacreuzette. We also celebrated Kate’s birthday with a well-travelled carrot cake from South Africa, which despite being frozen, defrosted, refrozen and a second defrost, came out sterling on the other side. A bullet proof recipe, it seems. What a joy!

MAMMA SE RAASDAG
Vandag is Catharien se verjaarsdag. Sy wou baie graag 'n "Pâté aux pommes de terre" as verjaarsdagkoek hê. Dit is basies 'n hoërgraad pastei met aartappels. Ek het dit onlangs tydens ons Frankryk reis by die uitsonderlike @lacreuzette in Boussac die eerste keer geëet en dit is fantasties. Baie dankie DeVerra Auret vir die resep en Ouma Winnie wat dit gister gebak het. Die seuntjies is baie opgewonde oor hulle mamma wat verjaar, maar ek vermoed hulle hou die meeste van die twee ballonne. 🤣 Ons gaan nou Catharien se Raasdag, soos haar familie dit noem, by lieflike @leopardsleap vier. Lekker verjaar Catharien, dankie dat jy so 'n wonderlike vrou en ma is.

We got all dolled up for our second-last dinner… ✨

This tour was truly one for the books! An eclectic group of people from all over the globe came together as strangers and somehow became a wonderfully tight-knit group of friends.

There was laughter, connection, stories, shared meals, and so many beautiful moments along the way.

My heart is very happy and this week will stay with me for a long time! ❤️

I must confess… life got wonderfully busy, and a few days simply melted into one beautiful, happy memory.

There were garden visits, endless photo opportunities, moments gathered around the kitchen table, Lebanese cooking sessions, and so many delicious meals shared together — all blended into one big, glowing smile on my face.

This group of wonderful people, who joined us from all corners of the world, truly touched our hearts. We laughed, we cooked, we shared stories, and we created memories that will stay with us for a long time.

Our hearts are a little fuller, and a little bigger, because of them. ❤️

Our mezze lunch today was a joyful tapestry of vibrant colours, bold flavours, shared laughter, good wine, and wonderful conversation. The table was alive with stories and smiles, and every dish seemed to bring a little more magic to the table.

Now we're off to the château in Boussac, followed by a well-earned hour of rest before heading back to the kitchen to prepare tonight's dinner.

What a wonderful first evening! Twelve excited guests gathered around the table, everyone sharing stories, laughter, and the anticipation of the week ahead as new friendships began to form.

The perfect start was made even more memorable by a magnificent four-course dinner prepared by De Verra and the talented team at La Creuzette. Delicious food, great company, and a château full of happy energy—everything points to a very special week ahead.
