🇳🇵ANNAPURNA CIRCUIT TREK🇳🇵

Day 6. Upper Pisang to Manang (3500m). Listened to a seriously unwell Yak making dreadful noises all night then started the day with a big old climb, 27% average for 2.5km which gave us ridiculous views of the Annapurna range across the valley all day long. The longest day of the trek (20km) and our favourite.🗻🗻

Day 7 was a rest/acclimatisation day in Manang. A long way from normal life, we were grateful just to go in a shop…
Also went to a lecture with the @himalayanrescueassociation to get clued up on Acute Mountain Sickness.

Day 8 - 12km and >700m elevation to finish at 4200m. Then pushed on to just over 4400m in an additional acclimatisation hike.

We learnt these are useful for the following day but this one absolutely battered us. We even caught our guide Laden catching Z’s😴

Freezing temperatures, headaches, no WiFi. Things getting tough!🤒

Nepal 🇳🇵
Trekking for 10 days on the Annapurna Circuit up to cross Thorong La Pass at 5416m (and back down, RIP knees) was some way to kick off our trip, an amazing country with the most insane views of the Himalayas.

Words don’t do justice to how massive those 8000m+ mountains look when you’re stood in the valley opposite😵‍💫 Laden our guide, our porter Lakpa, Phoebe and I. What a team, and what an experience🏔️❤️🤝
