This landmark showcase brings together 17 contemporary artists from across the Southeast and beyond, highlighting the expressive potential and versatility of sculpture and relief sculpture.

OBJECTS 2 celebrates a diverse range of themes, styles, and techniques—each work offering a unique perspective on form, material, and meaning. From the abstract to the figurative, minimal to intricate, the exhibition underscores the enduring power of dimensional art to transform space and perception.

Along with the exhibition, OBJECTS 2 will also feature new artwork from our resident mixed media artist Marc Boyson and fiber artist Sandy Teepen.

OBJECTS 2 ARTISTS : David Carlton, Johnny Cohen, DL Warfield, Santi Saucedo, Lars Finderup, LOWKEY LYSS, RICH STEVENS, Heather Deyling, Christopher Choi, John Roberts, Sean Berube, Corrina Sephora, Dillan Ladner, Susan Krause, Valentin Sivyakov, Allen Peterson & Hanna Newman.

Dillan threw these lovely cups and invited me to carve & doodle on them :,) I love them both so much!! I'm keeping these two but we've been wondering if we should do a lil collab collection? 👀

We also have our spring community show coming up at our local studio @roswellclaycollective opening May 15!! 🏺🪴 Come out and support a ton of amazing local sculptors & potters!!!

So delighted to attend the Alabama clay conference this year! I had an amazing time and learned so much. Thank you to everyone at the ALCC who put so much time and effort into making this happen every year and to the presenters and other guests who completely opened up my worldview!

Finally got my mug barn hung up so I can enjoy all my favorite treasures in one place! I think I'm going to make little risers to go under some of the ones tucked in the back.

Collecting mugs from friends and potters I admire has become the best part of being a potter. I think I'm going to have to make a whole village to house my ever expanding collection in the near future!

It made me limit the tags to 20! I wish it would let me tag every single maker but I love all my mugs equally! Well except for @comer.allison 's mugs and mini mug barn. She's hands down my favorite maker and never ceases to inspire me. 🥰 Her mini mug barn came before the big one and I based the design off of her vision. Now the big barn just needs some sunflower embellishments.

🔥🏺🔥…It was quite a year for UA ceramics! I don’t I think I stopped moving from January to May. Last Friday, the semester officially wrapped. First-year grads passed their full-faculty reviews (@gabrielle_ceramics & @franklin.jeffers) - third-year grads passed their MFA committee reviews (@ladner.art & @katmurrayart) and BFA Sam Norris @wow.ok.art successfully installed and defended her thesis work. Thanks to all of you for an excellent and rewarding semester and year. It’s truly been a joy to work with all of you. 🙏🙏🙏!!! Rtr.
