“It takes one to know one.” ❤️

The older I get, the more I realize just how PROFOUND that statement really is.

There is something incredibly powerful about a soul that can SEE another soul. Not for who they appear to be, what they've accomplished, or what they've been through… but for WHO THEY ARE beneath it all.

And there's something even more beautiful about connecting with people who have done the work to HEAL. People who have faced their own darkness, taken responsibility for their growth, learned to protect their peace, and STILL choose to show up in this world with open hearts, laughter, compassion, and LOVE.

Because when you've done that kind of inner work, you begin to recognize it in others.

**You don't have to explain your depth to someone who has explored their own. You don't have to defend your peace to someone who has fought to find theirs. And you don't have to shrink your light around someone who has learned to embrace their own.**

Sometimes connection isn't about how long you've known someone. It's about the beautiful recognition of something familiar in their soul.

A simple walk. A meaningful conversation. Uncontrollable laughter. Two souls simply being themselves, without expectations, competition, or judgment.

THAT is connection. ❤️

And @ladyalliemae, what a beautiful reminder that when we do the work to become whole within ourselves, we make room for connections that don't drain us… **they remind us of who we are.**

Here's to the people who SEE us, CELEBRATE us, and remind us that healing doesn't have to make us harder. Sometimes it simply makes us more capable of loving, laughing, and connecting on a whole different level.

**It takes one to KNOW one. And sometimes, it takes one healed soul to RECOGNIZE another.** 🧡✨

For the video itself, I would open with this text on the screen:

“Some souls don't need an introduction… they recognize each other.”

And let the laughter, walking, and natural moments tell the rest of the story. ❤️

Yesterday, we stepped into a world of timeless romance, old-world elegance, and a little Bridgerton-inspired drama. But perhaps this was more than just a styled shoot… 💫

Day 2… and what a day it was! ☀️🔥

When I say it was HOT, I mean the sun was definitely doing its job. But we had the absolute best time.

The energy on set was contagious. There was so much laughter, so much joy, and so much passion poured into every single scene.

If this next music video doesn’t get you out of your seat, I don’t know what will! The energy is on another level, and I cannot wait for everyone to experience it.

That’s a wrap on Video Two! 🎬

Congratulations, Charlene Neal! It has been such an honor getting you camera-ready for another incredible project. Watching you continue to walk boldly in your calling has been a beautiful thing to witness, and I’m so thankful to have been a small part of bringing your vision to life.

Now… the countdown begins.

There is something incredibly special about watching someone you’ve known your entire life step fully into the purpose they were created for.

That is exactly how I feel every time I have the privilege of working alongside the incredible @charlinneal

Not only is she an amazingly gifted gospel artist, but she’s also a devoted wife, an incredible mother, and one of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet.

Being invited back to work on her second music video from her new album is such an honor, and my heart is so full watching her shine.

And if you thought Video One was powerful… just wait until you see what’s coming next. 🔥

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look from today’s shoot. I can’t wait for you all to experience it!
