Voar à frente da aeronave sempre!

Neste video o instrutor frisa a importância de se atentar a pequenos detalhes, por mais que possa parecer improvável.

Primeiro voo no EMB 711C, vulgo Corisco.

Read it backwards. Then remember who’s in control.

This October, I’m proud to wear pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Behind this small addition to our uniforms is a much bigger message of hope, courage, and solidarity. 🎀🛩️

May we continue to lift each other up, spread awareness, and never stop believing in the power of community 🩷

Today is world mental health day 🧠💕💭 Here’s a shorten version of my humanitarian project focusing on mental health in the aviation industry.

So grateful that I had the chance to present my work raising funds for CMHA while sharing the @womeninaviation mission globally, and to receive a Top 5 distinction for the @missuniversecanada Humanitarian Award.

@cmhanational @namicommunicate @pilotmentalhealth offer great resources if you or someone you know may be struggling. Check in on your loved ones, even the ones that seem to be the strongest 🫶

Your office just happens to have wings. ✈️🧽

When you’re starting your aviation career in a 702 or 703 operation, the job is about more than just flying.

On your days off from flying, you might be cleaning the aircraft, organizing the hangar, or getting the airplane ready for its next mission. Unlike flight school, there isn’t always someone else doing the work behind the scenes.

Think of the hangar as your office and the aircraft as your desk. Keep it clean, organized, and professional. It’s a reflection of you, your work ethic, and the operation you represent.

That’s part of being a professional pilot, too. 👩‍✈️

Before Alex and I got married, she said she wanted to be a pilot. Well, our conversation turned into reality and today she just hit her 1,000 hour mark! I’m so proud of her! She’s having a good time and there is no stopping her!

🚨 Your flight hours aren’t the only thing getting you hired.

I used to work in HR for an international restaurant company, where I handled hiring for 7 locations and helped with U.S. expansion. I reviewed A LOT of resumes and cover letters.

Then I became the applicant myself and learned how that experience applies to aviation.

Here are 9 things that can take your first pilot application from “okay” to “I want to interview this person”:

1️⃣ Put your flight hours near the top. Make total time, PIC, multi, IFR, etc. easy to find.

2️⃣ Don’t mention your age. Being young doesn’t need to be a headline.

3️⃣ Find a mentor. Have an experienced pilot proofread your application.

4️⃣ Cut the fluff. Hiring managers are busy. Be clear, concise and specific.

5️⃣ Make your contact info professional and easy to find. And please… use a professional email address. 😂

6️⃣ Read the job posting. Use relevant keywords and phrases from it. Show them you understand what they’re looking for.

7️⃣ Have references ready. Ask permission before listing someone.

8️⃣ Skip unrelated hobbies. Focus on experience that demonstrates leadership, teamwork, CRM, communication and decision-making.

9️⃣ Follow up once, professionally. Don’t bombard them. You can absolutely talk yourself out of the candidate pool by becoming annoying.

Your goal isn’t to write the longest cover letter.

It’s to make the employer think:

“Let’s talk to this person.” ✈️

Save this for your next aviation application.
