Happy International Women's Day! What an honour it is to share our days with such an incredible team of women! From juggling full time careers, families, studies, small businesses, hobbies and passions these women continue to inspire the next generation of women and we are so so thankful for what they bring to Ann Roberts 💙🙏🏼 #internationalwomensday

Me just doing what I do. Creating.
I’m a big fan of taking long walks & listening to music. Problem is though, I’m too much of a dancer & I can’t help but just dance. Then I start choreographing in my head & if I’m that into it I will just stop everything & start recording….which is most of the time. Being a career freestyler, I just can’t help myself. This brings me joy & I’m here for as much of it as I can get.

I love a good lil video edit session too!

I’m 40 today….wow!

4 decades of one hell of a crazy life & dancing all around the world & arriving back with my family for this moment. It’s a lot to take in.
I used to think turning 40 was scary, but really, I’m so happy. Without the experiences I’ve had, I wouldn’t be woman I am today & I feel like my time is just beginning. I have been able to get to know myself & have come to love & appreciate so many things about me that I never did before, or not even notice at all. I have for a very long time been so focused on the dream that I didn’t see all the awesome thing I was doing around it, overlooking skills & experiences that have impacted & shaped me into who I am today.
Shes a pretty cool chick if you ask me 😜
I can’t wait to see what surprises this next decade has for me.

Sometimes I get that focused/obsessed with a piece that everything else around me just falls away. I can roll out of bed & just want to reach for my brush straight away & spend the whole day painting in my unicorn pajamas. It can feel like a marathon sometime, you just want to get it done as fast as possible so you can finally meet the final image. Other times it’s is such a beautiful meditative experience where it really doesn’t matter how long it’s taking because I’m just enjoying the process.

Such an amazing time participating with @sabgallerycollection Ladies Night. So many highlights from fun vendors, paint battle, musicians, new friends, and the very professional gang putting the event together. It was such a pleasure to be a part of the talented group of artists sharing their work last Friday. Thank you everyone so much for coming out ❤️❤️❤️

This one was a tough, detailed, epic journey!
I definitely went into meditative states while creating this piece. Thi think that’s something that keeps me creating art. The rest of the world fades away & then it’s just me & my expression. I love it.

NEON
25x21“
Acrylic on canvas

This piece started out with a twin painting, however, accidents were made & now she is her own 😜
This piece was made with the intention of being printed on fabric. I’ve learnt a lot of lessons along the way when it comes to printing designs. This was just the start of the journey, and I am still working my way to creating wearable art.
