Stoked @diplo got to watch @inpiecestogether_film last night @uluwatusurfvillas and said he felt it . He’s someone who leads with action and that’s exactly what we need if we’re going to improve the state of mental health for future generations around the world.

Nothing is more important than how we show up for ourselves, for each other, and for the world around us.

Everyone deserves to feel awesome 🙌

One of my most memorable surf sessions wasn’t really about the waves, it was about the adventure. I’ve learned that adventure can reignite curiosity, and curiosity can ignite adventure. I never want to stop exploring new places, trying new things and wondering what’s around the next corner.

We are gunna make mistakes. we are gunna get wiped out. We are all kooks at some point we just have to remember there will always be another wave, an oportunity you might not see if you don’t paddle back out and give it a crack.

We don’t stop often enough and actually recognise how far we’ve come.

Life is beautiful, but it can also be dam hard for all of us . It’s complicated, and no one gets through it without carrying something. There are days that just seem real heavy.

Don’t brush past that. Acknowledge that it’s been hard and you show up, Be bloody proud of it. Please remember to be kind to yourself.

Everyone deserves to feel Awesome

I had a spare arvo cruising in LA waiting for my flight ,and I was curios to what the people do to take care of themselves each day. So I thought I’d ask What daily habits the humans of Venice beach Los Angeles California have, that they know helps them fell connected to themselves and helps them with their mental health ?

A homecoming…with purpose. As part of my newly incubated @_startinglineup_ program, 11 young women from across the USA, Mexico & Canada came to Portland (many for the very first time) to get inspired by the vast opportunities to work in the sports industry. Portland is the city that raised me, the city that launched my entire career - not to mention the city that contributes tremendously to the global sports economy.

Thank you @sportoregon @jetzel63 for being such a long-time advocate of my work, and especially to 2015 MLS Cup Champions @timbersfc @rodwall22 @diegovaleri8 for instilling in these young minds what it means to operate at the highest level in sport, to keep a champion mindset, and to maintain confidence in every room. Portland is so lucky to have you!

These photos are from our welcome reception at @sohohouseportland with an amazing room of friends and supporters. Can’t wait to share more throughout the week! 📷 @evanluecke1

Day 1:
The first day of @_startinglineup_ introduced us to new sides of the sports industry and, without knowing it yet, to an experience that would shape us in so many ways.

I walked into a room not knowing anyone, surrounded by executives, athletes, and influential voices in the world of sports. Like many of the girls there, I came in nervous and unsure of what to expect. But as we started getting to know each other, those nerves quickly turned into confidence, connection, and warmth.

@theresa_tran created Starting Lineup to prepare young women to take the field of marketing and PR in the sports industry, and being part of its second edition made that purpose feel very real.

Jim Etzel, Rodney Wallace, and Diego Valeri took the stage for a fireside conversation that set the tone for what was ahead: honest stories, valuable lessons, and a genuine willingness to share their experiences with us.

It was only day one, but it already felt like the beginning of something much bigger.

Special thanks to @gracestearns3 for helping me get here

First time in Portland, OR, and I can’t think of a better reason to visit. 🤍

When @theresa_tran asked if I could make it to Portland on just a few days’ notice to support @_startinglineup_, a program she created to inspire young women to explore careers in sports, it was an immediate YES.

Programs like this didn’t exist when I was coming up, and if they did, maybe it wouldn’t have taken me 16 years to break into the sports industry 🙃

So inspired by the young women in this cohort and the incredible women I met who continue to shape the space.

If we’re not giving back and creating opportunities for the next generation, then what are we even doing?

So proud and inspired by you T. 🫶

thank you @intakebreathing for trusting me with your first activation at @s10training

your mouth is an emergency exit not a main entrance

we talked functional breathing for performance and why your nose is the most underrated piece of equipment in the gym / in your longevity arsenal

pre workout nasal breathing = free nitric oxide, better o2 delivery and a calm confident nervous system

nasal breathing is free therapy and it doesn’t ask how your childhood was ( but I probably will )

grateful for the room, the energy, and everyone who let me get weird about their sinuses and airway for an hour

more soon 👃
