IN FLAMES is an artistic residency curated by Antilia Gallery with the support of Arci Stand By (Bando Luoghi Comuni – Regione Puglia).

Artist @lafugg exhibits the works produced during her residency period: photographic reworkings of the Alta Murgia and an installation with on-site materials.

In the context od In Flem's, the strategic application of red and orange hues does not merely depict the physical manifestation of wildfires but also evokes a visceral response from the fragility of the ecosystems. It's a testament to how artists can leverage colour to make a statement, turning each image into a poignant reminder of our collective responsibility towards nature's preservation.

You can visit the exhibition
From Thursday to Saturday
H: 17-21

#FUTURESFeature - Claudia Fuggetti

@lafugg is an Italian artist based in Milan whose practice sits at the intersection of photography, digital art, and artificial intelligence to explore the boundaries between reality, memory, and the subconscious.

Her project “Hot Zone” takes its name from the recently discovered brain area where dreams are generated, located just above the base of the skull. Beginning at the end of 2019, during a period of insomnia and anxiety about the future of human beings and the environment, Claudia began documenting her lucid dreams, noting details upon waking and rebuilding them as images. Real landscapes are digitally altered, taking on unusual colours and psychedelic dimensions that feel borrowed from another world. A neutral network she built captures what memory alone cannot hold.

Nominated by @der_greif in 2024

Claudia Fuggetti transforms landscapes into glowing visions of change. Her work asks us to see nature as alive, fragile, and intertwined with us. @lafugg
