On The Boards: This modern prairie home will sit across 28 rolling acres in Grant, Minnesota.

We designed Murphy’s Landing around the land and the life its owners hope to build here. Low, wide rooflines settle the architecture into the landscape. The home looks south across future pastures for horses, cattle, sheep, and rescue animals. Eventually, barns, animal shelters, an orchard, and open ground will join the residence. For now, we’re watching the first pieces of that larger vision come together. #modernarchitecture #minnesotaarchitects

We got a group of women in the industry together for an AI Co-Working Day where we dug our heels in and actually worked on our AI platforms to get the things done that we have been putting off. We shared things we have learned and worked hard. But these are my top 5 takeaways from the day.

Welcome to A-Typical Cabin: Designed to make the most of lake life. This Wisconsin cabin renovation addition connects the existing home and garage while opening the living spaces to the water with a walk-out lower level. Rustic timber beams, quartz countertops, and a forest-inspired palette create a retreat that feels as natural as its surroundings. See more on our portfolio, link in bio.

One of my favorite parts of what I do is bringing the right people into the right rooms and letting the magic happen.

This July, I had the privilege of helping organize @winc.mn Emerging Professionals’ Constructive Conversations: A Seat at the Table, where experienced leaders shared advice, career lessons, and encouragement with the next generation of women in construction. Thank you to our showroom host @arhaus_galleria and our mentors: Brittany Hanson (@_hanson_haven_ ), Jess Windsor (@streeterhomes @between_blueprints ), Emily Van Handel (@lakeside_dtcarlson ), and Katie Hronski (@cambriasurfaces @quartzwithkatie ).

Looking forward to the next opportunity to bring women in construction together. 🤍

The businesses we work with don’t just feel like clients they become an extension of us. Here’s why:

1. We put in the hours. From onboarding to strategy, visual direction, and execution, every detail is intentional.

2. Because we love what we do and we’re invested in seeing your business win (!!)

January books are filling up fast. If you’re ready to lock in support for the new year, now’s the time!

Still buzzing about Minnesota Guild Member Lelch teaming up with O’Hara Interiors and Artful Living Magazine for an industry gathering that felt more like your favorite holiday party at your favorite friends’ house.

This is something Guild members do naturally. We love to bring the right elements together and set the scene. And in the business of building beautiful spaces, no one works alone — we have to weave unique ideas and singular vision into something bigger than any one discipline. It’s the same instinct we bring into the home or workspace: everything connected, considered, and working in harmony.

Feels especially right during the holiday season to celebrate that kind of magic. More rooms full of people who care, more shared vision, more homes that feel loved from the inside out.

If you’re imagining or building a dream home in the Twin Cities, you want the very best at technology, design and dedicated service. We’ve got ‘em: @golelch

Thanks for seeing what we see in our people @artfullivingmag! Love the holiday issue ♥️❄️✨

Tucked along the peaceful shores of Pipe Lake, this reimagined cabin blends modern craftsmanship with timeless rustic charm. Built with care by Lakeside by D.T. Carlson, the addition seamlessly expands the original structure while honoring its character. Despite challenging terrain and precise foundation reinforcement, the team created a warm, welcoming retreat made for gathering, unwinding, and making memories. A contemporary take on the classic cabin—rooted in nature, designed for connection. This creation showcases everything we love about lake life!

There is something timeless and quite lovely about a home that feels both new and familiar. We are loving the moodiness, texture, and intentional design choices in this space! So many moments to swoon over 😍

We hosted our Collective Mixer at @walkyourplansmn and got to step inside a full scale example of @mysahus.

There’s nothing like experiencing a floorplan in real life… walking through the flow, feeling the distance from the kitchen island to surrounding counters, or even testing if the tub is too small for two people (the ultimate design question 😂).

Such a cool way to bring ideas off the page and into reality!

Team DWELL44 has entered the chat 💬

We had a blast yesterday with some of our wonderful trade partners — the perfect summer day to kick back & watch some baseball.

Special shoutout to Joshua of @taysandcodesign and Mollie of @lakesideluxuryinteriors for crushing it on the Jumbotron!
