✨ “What we feed grows; what we starve dies.” ❤️‍🔥

I’ve come to understand that life is, in many ways, about our relationship with our wounds. They can become gateways to liberation or shackles that keep us bound to suffering.

Everyone has their private battles, and 2026 has been one of the most trying years of my life. Still, I choose an attitude of gratitude. Despite the chaos life can bring, we always have choices. I choose to stay in places and relationships that fuel and uplift me, and to graciously walk away from situations that drain or hurt me.

After an emotionally taxing week, I woke up with love and gratitude in my heart and leaned into some of the beautiful people in my life. ❤️

I’m grateful for the blessing of celebrating my sweet Tina in Horseshoe Bay, spending a weekend filled with giggles, laughter, tears, endless conversations, sunshine, and late nights.

The following day, I got to celebrate my gorgeous friend Julie as she expanded Soul Strong with her second location, surrounded by my precious soul sisters Sara, Mia, Alexis, and Jaime. We shared a morning of yoga challenges, delicious lattes at Lampo, explored a fun metaphysical shop in downtown Hutto, and ended with a soulful, cathartic sound bath at Soul Strong, before spending time with my sweet babies. ✨

I’m grateful to be moving through life with a more coherent heart, understanding that people often live out their cycles through the lens of their inner beliefs and unresolved wounds. I lovingly pray for those who are hurting while holding boundaries that protect my heart and limiting access to those who project their pain and chaos onto me.

Life is beautifully complicated, and I feel blessed for the highs and lows, the lessons and blessings, the beautiful relationships, and the opportunities I’ve been gifted.

I choose to live with an attitude of gratitude while allowing myself to feel the full spectrum of human emotions and embrace the fullness of this human experience. 🤍✨

Sometimes it feels like we simply don’t have the time. I get it, I do. But supporting local businesses goes beyond just spending money.

Support means spreading the word, sharing a review, keeping them in mind for collaborative events. So even if you didn’t purchase something, you can still write a positive review to acknowledge the beauty of their space, the quality of their offerings, or the kindness of their team.

Even when we can’t spend money, there are ways to help support little, local shops.

Some of my favorite local brick & mortars:

@unearthedatx
@hometowngiftanddecor
@cosmiceggwellness
@shopbdbtx
@lamppost.coffee
@therubyhotelandbar
@paigesbakehouse
@winesensation
@mimundocoffee
@finleysroundrock

And to be clear, this is not a paid collaboration and I’m sure I missed some of my personal faves. Don’t worry though - I’ll get y’all later!!

It’s always good business to support local business, so go write the review, share the plant update, and stop in when you can. Cheers to a fun, supportive, and cooperative community. 🥂

Pumpkin spice latte season is here, and Lamppost Coffee in Hutto, Texas is serving a latte you need to try 🎃☕

I stopped in for a breakfast sandwich and coffee and had a pumpkin spice latte I’m still thinking about. It’s Lamppost Coffee’s signature Lamba Latte with a pumpkin spice twist, made with Lamppost’s own house-made Lamba syrup. Cozy, smooth, and so delicious!

The fall menu has more to love too, like the S’mores Latte, Caramel Miso Hojica, Cornbread Capp and Cardi-C Chai. Have you tried their Fall menu yet? 🍁🍂

📍 109 East St. Suite A, Hutto, Texas

Save this for your next coffee run, and share this with someone you’d grab a fall latte with!

Long-distance week 3 of 12 for Brandon’s first clinical rotation!
Weekend visits every two weeks definitely aren’t easy, but reminding ourselves that this means he’s one step closer to graduation makes it all worth it!

We are SO incredibly thankful for the friends and family who love us, are supporting us, and are helping us through this season.

Fall around Bonney Lake is one of my favorite times of year. 🍂

Pumpkin patches with the kids, coffee before a walk through Tehaleh, drives toward Enumclaw when the leaves start changing, and those random local events that give you a reason to actually get out of the house.

There’s a lot happening around here this season, so I pulled together some of my favorite fall things in Bonney Lake + the surrounding areas.

Pumpkin patches, fall events, cozy coffee stops, date night ideas, and a few places to catch the fall color.

Save this one for the next time you’re wondering what to do this weekend.

And if I missed one of your favorite local fall spots, tell me what needs to be added. 👇
