// ASADO // Hands down the highlight of our time in Uruguay. “Asado” translates to “roast” or “grilled” in english. Open fire grilling, a variety of meats and cheeses, music, cervezas, and endless good vibes. Everything shared. No plates. Straight off the cutting board.

Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to spend a week in Uruguay with some of my best buds shooting the new @howlerbros Fall Collection, which is officially available now if you haven’t checked it out already.

Between endless asados, great vino and plenty of birras, late-night jam sessions around the fire, incredible adventures to remote beach towns, some fun waves, and causing our fair share of trouble, it was one of those trips you wish would never end.

Uruguay was never really on my bucket list, but the people, the culture, the coastline, the food - it’s quickly become one of my favorite countries and I hope to visit again one day.

Grateful for good friends and the entire @howlerbros crew for an experience I’ll never forget. Hopefully it won’t be the last. 🇺🇾

Uruguay! A long-awaited trip to the home of HB surfing ambassador @nachopignataro to catch some waves and try this beef I’ve heard so much about. Our Uruguayan friends’ meat confidence was not unfounded - the asadas were honestly crazy. And I was very stoked to be asked to write and record this piece of music to commemorate the trip. One night while we played guitar around the asada coals, maestro @santigutierrezs showed me an old style of Uruguayan folk music called the #milonga and this is loosely inspired by what I heard.

Huge thanks to @howlerbros for the ongoing adventures, and to our Uruguayan hosts for showing us the best time. Fall 2026 out now!

Siempre pensé que hay algo especial en un fuego. Porque no importa de dónde venga cada uno, alrededor del fuego todos terminamos hablando el mismo idioma.

Hace unos meses, la familia @howlerbros vino an Uruguay para shootear la colección Fall ’26. Pero las cámaras fueron apenas una excusa.

Lo que realmente pasó fue una semana compartiendo la forma en la que vivimos este rinconcito del mundo. Asados que empiezan con el atardecer y terminan bajo las estrellas. Olas. Mate. Guitarras. Eternas sobremesas. Historias que se cuentan sin mirar la hora y esa sensación de que los mejores recuerdos nunca están planeados.

Hay algo muy lindo en viajar para conocer otras culturas. Pero todavía más lindo es ver a tus amigos enamorarse del lugar que vos llamás casita.

Este carrusel resume un pedacito de lo que vivimos esa semana. Y la colección Fall ’26 es el reflejo de todo eso. Go check it out!
