As I’ve spent the last few days reflecting on Miss Alabama week, I finally understand why people call it the best summer camp ever.

Going into the week, I was nervous and honestly didn’t know what to expect, but what I found was a room full of women who inspired me, encouraged me, and quickly became friends I already miss more than I expected!

There is something so special about getting to spend a week with 44 of your new closest friends, sitting in the dressing room laughing until you cry over the most random stories, helping each other get ready, sharing every hairstyle and makeup trick, and creating memories in moments you never expected to matter so much.

I think Evie said it best: you will never understand Miss Alabama week until you live it. And I’ve never heard anything so true!

I’m incredibly honored to have received the American Heart Association Scholarship Award after raising $1,470 for heart health advocacy and to tie with my new best friend Grace for the Non-Finalist Interview Award, an award that meant so much to me & to share it with someone so special is such an honor!

But more than any award, what I’ll remember most is getting to celebrate each other. Waiting by the stage doors to cheer for our friends after they competed, hugging them when they walked off stage, and knowing they would be waiting there cheering just as loudly for us.

Alabama opened its arms and let me call it home these last two years, and this week reminded me just how grateful I am for that.

I already miss this week and these girls more than I can explain, but I’m thankful for every laugh, every conversation, every late night, and every moment that made this experience what it was. Thank you to everyone who sent flowers, gifts, prayers, and showed up for me this week. I couldn’t have done this without you!! This year isn’t over yet and I’m so grateful I still get to continue this journey as your Miss Mobile Bay! ❤️🥹

Thank you to the Mobile community for your incredible support, encouragement, and prayers as I prepare to compete for Miss Alabama. Seeing so many familiar faces and feeling the love from this community was a reminder of how blessed I am to represent Mobile Bay!

As I prepare for my first time at Miss Alabama, I want to thank the people who have helped make this journey possible. A special thank you to my director, Larry Andrews, for his guidance, encouragement, and endless support throughout the year!

As an only child, I never imagined this journey would give me so many sisters. From day one, the Miss Alabama Organization has welcomed me with open arms and surrounded me with women who genuinely want to see one another succeed!

A special thank you to my sister queen, Madison, my new bestie Rylie, my Teen, Laney Brooke, my sorority sisters, and my Rising Stars, Sansa and Claire, for answering my countless questions and making this first year so memorable!! Your friendship and support mean more than you know!

The sisterhood is one of the greatest blessings of this experience, and I can’t wait to spend next week making even more memories together. ❤️

Last month, I had the chance to watch Miss Alabama’s Teen and left feeling so inspired. There is nothing like this organization and getting to cheer on my teen Laney Brooke, and my girls, Grace Anne and Marley, made it even more special!

If you’ve ever wanted to experience this for yourself, the Miss Mobile Bay and Miss Mobile Bay’s Teen competition will be held on November 8th and I would love to see you there! 👑

Celebrating my first ever Mardi Gras as Miss Mobile Bay 💜✨

The energy, the music, the beads flying everywhere… it’s something I had always heard about, but getting to experience it firsthand while representing my community made it even more special. Being surrounded by so many amazing people and soaking in every moment is something I’ll never forget!

all i can say is wow! i cannot believe that less than six months ago i hadn’t been in a pageant system since i was five. not only was my second miss america pageant miss alabama’s teen, i walked away with non-finalists interview and 35,000 dollars in scholarships! i am so thankful for the journey to miss alabama’s teen and cannot wait for all this program has to bring me in the coming years as i age out of teen!
