INTRODUCING THE ACTS FOR SATURDAY: Lapdog are a 3-piece alternative/art rock band based in Dundalk. With plucky guitars, driving rhythm and melancholy vocals, they take inspiration from bands like the Pixies, the Velvet Underground and the Pillow Queens, with lyrics exploring topics of love, loss, and the things we tend to not talk about.
They recently played the Gig in a Gaff series of gigs and released their latest single “Drown Me” on 3rd July 2026.
Jack from Lapdog will be playing a solo set on the night alongside @alice.robinson.music
and @icepoprock downstairs in @spiritstore.ie on Saturday 25th July. You should go to it you'd like it
