My fav thing about music is that shows are a wonderful excuse to hang out with your friends that you can’t usually hang out with because everyone’s too tired and too busy. Come out and watch me watch my friends and then maybe also watch me do a stripped down set.

Excited to be bringing back Ruvs presents next Friday August 7th with our first returning guest Kai Alce.

Kai played our first party over 3 years ago in a warehouse with a broken air conditioner and a sound system we brought in from East Tennessee. At the time there were no dance music clubs in Nashville, but there was a palpable energy and excitement for house music. Over 100 people sweated through the 100 degree temperature in the room that night and danced for hours despite the conditions. The desire for great house music was felt in the energy of the dancers.

Now we have the pleasure of welcoming Kai back to a city where the number of opportunities to hear great djs has exploded, and the number of dancers and heads has grown in kind.

We hope you join us all this next Friday August 7th to celebrate the rise of dance music in music city.
