OPEN SUNDAY
this week 27/09 from 2-6pm

Autumn‘s here, so we’re keeping it cozy.
This Sunday, 27 September, Galerie Greulich turns into a café. UNBOTHERED?! becomes a place to stay a while and talk. And yes, there will be cake.

On the walls: works by Stella Winter, Lara Weiler, Wei Zhu, Elisa Deutloff and Chelsea Hartmann, young Gen Z artists showing how their generation see itself. Plenty to talk about over a second slice.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Lara Weiler @larawlr

An open belt bag with an asthma inhaler. Clothes flung over a chair, a toilet brush beside a bathtub full of odds and ends. A handbag, rummaged through in a women’s bathroom in Düsseldorf. Lara Weiler draws what people carry around with them, and almost never shows a face. Her precise coloured-pencil drawings, and more recently her shaped canvases, are indirect portraits of the people around her. The longer you look, the more you start to recognise yourself and your own stuff.

Born in Luxembourg in 1999, Lara Weiler studied Fine Arts at the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar in Saarbrücken. Earlier this month, she completed her Meisterschülerin, the German postgraduate master-student distinction, under Prof. Gabriele Langendorf. Congratulations, Lara!
She lives and works in Luxembourg and is represented by @valeriusgallery

We’re thrilled to have Lara as one of the five artists in UNBOTHERED?!, each translating the present moment into the classical media of painting and drawing.

📍 Galerie Greulich, Fahrgasse 22, Frankfurt
🗓 On view at Galerie Greulich until 16 October 2026
💌 DM us if you’d like to receive the portfolio.

EXHIBITION VIEWS

currently on view: the groupshow “UNBOTHERED?!” with Lara Weiler, Wei Zhu, Stella Winter and Elisa Deutloff & Chelsea Hartmann

The art market is shifting. Big galleries are shrinking, others are closing, collectors are changing, and art increasingly lives online. So we asked: does this show up in the art itself?
These five artists aren’t inventing a new genre. They take art off its pedestal and give it back to society, unbothered by the (mostly male) genius cult of the 18th century. Their works ask for something reels don’t: time.

Make sure to step by and have a look at this playful exhibition.

SAISONSTART 2026 | Upcoming Groupshow
(engl in the comments)

UNBOTHERED?!
