Mini Cooper has been a steadfast, loyal companion through so much. Originally from South Korea, he traveled across the globe to LA and eventually across the country to Virginia, serving as a source of comfort and love during his previous family's hardest seasons—sleeping by his mom's head through heartbreak, infertility, and illness, and sharing in the joy when their children were born.

Now, Mini Cooper has returned to California under our care at OC Pom Rescue to find his true, permanent forever home. But before he can start this next chapter and go on the outdoor walks he deserves, he needs urgent help. 🐾💔

Mini Cooper requires double patella surgery (PVS LFS + MPL Left/Right) so he can walk, run, and live without pain.

Estimated Surgery Cost: $4,875

This sweet, brave Pomeranian has given so much comfort to others; now it’s our turn to show up for him. Every single dollar counts towards getting Mini Cooper back on his feet!

I never thought I’d have to write this.
After 20 years and more than 8,000 dogs saved, Dogs Without Borders is weeks from closing.
It costs us about $35,000 a month to operate. Adoption fees cover roughly $12,000 of that. We need donations to cover the remaining $25,000 a month — and right now, our account is overdrawn. We owe our vet nearly $12,000. We have no cushion left.
This week we had to cancel our adoption event for the first time in I can remember. There is a dachshund at West Valley with IVDD I had to leave behind yesterday. He’s still there tonight.
If we close, the seniors don’t get pulled. The medical cases don’t get pulled. The hoarding survivors don’t get pulled. They die in shelter cages.
We are asking 250 people to become monthly donors at $25/month — The Pack of 250. That is the thing that keeps us alive.
