Happy belated national esthetician day 💌
Its been about 6 years since I left my comfy surgical tech job at the eye surgery office & took a chance on myself & enrolled in esthetics school
Super full circle now that I’ve been swangin’ lashes among other services for almost 5 years now 🥹
The name Dream Esthetics means many things to me
I was always a day dreamer in school & couldn’t quite seem to focus on subjects that didn’t interest me. My brain is constantly shooting ideas & it takes a lot of effort to focus on one thing at a time 😅
I wanted my space to be somewhere where my clients could drift away from the everyday chaos & literally Dream 🌠
Throughout the years I’ve heard so many stories, laughed & even teared up now & then
Social media has never been something I’ve been super consistent with & somehow MY people always find me 🫶🏽
It was never about filling my books to the brim rather focusing on quality service & never making a client feel like they’re just the 8th client of the day (my max is 5-6 clients😳)

When I was a broke baby lash artist, the moment I felt like I made it was when I could finally afford the little blue box. As iconic in my world as Tiffany’s.

I’ll never forget that feeling.

Walking into this training felt just like that.

Nine years into lashing, mega volume being my specialty and I still knew it was time to sit down, learn, and elevate what we already do. More speed, more efficiency, longer lasting results. That’s what I’m bringing back to The Wonderland.

Some lash stylists hear the words “I want full but SUPER natural” from clients and immediately freeze because how the hell are you supposed to do that?!

My secret sauce to achieving this balance is using shades of brown - my personal fave is @lashboxla cashmere favorite brown 🤎I’ve loved her for years.

Throwing a few brown touches in any set will soften the look and make a noticeable difference - and more styles than you realize of mine actually have brown touches in them (it’s like highlights for your lashes lol)

If you’re a lash artist reading this - YES you can mix black and brown and it will not look weird if it’s done correctly.

If you’re a client reading this - YES you can absolutely get brown lashes and it will still look dark enough.

Still trying to catch up on real life after the most magical weekend at Lashcon with my @lashboxla family! 🥹🤍✨

My heart is SO full from last weekend and all the memories I made with my lash friends. This Lashcon was also extra special because I got to host a Korean Lash Lift class alongside my mentor & friend @mariola_miko_

Not to mention I won my very first Lashie award, met so many amazing new faces, and made the most special memories!

I absolutely love @thelashconference and this little lash community. Feeling so grateful, inspired, and excited for what’s next.

The Oscars… but make it lash artists 😂✨ @thelashconference

Honestly, everyone understood the assignment.

The dresses, the hair, the makeup, all the tiny details… I was literally looking around thinking, where are we? It genuinely felt like a red carpet.

But beyond all the glam, it was also really emotional watching some of my favorite people receive recognition for the years they’ve put into this industry. You see the final award, but you don’t always see the work and courage behind it.

And then, of course, we finished the night with the best hotel-room afterparty 😂 Heels came off, the real conversations started and I feel like that was the night when so many of us properly bonded.

Also… two of these photos were taken by @lashboxjenna using that camera every influencer is obsessed with.

And annoyingly, I now understand the hype 😂
