👖 MORPHOSE is an evolving, playful, and collective furniture project led by the Gauze Collective team. Each piece of the installation is made from giant, padded jeans that can be transformed into seating, resting areas, or temporary structures. Through the metamorphosis of an industrial garment into a collective tool, the pieces questions how we use objects and our bodies within public space. Connected to one another through simple manipulation using straps and rivets, MORPHOSE transforms visitors into participants, encouraging play, interaction and the collective appropriation of space. model @solene.charton photo @angejoannides 🌟 fr👖MORPHOSE est un projet de mobilier évolutif, ludique et collectif mené par l’équipe de Gauze Collective.

💦In the upcoming exhibition Laisser Couler💦 📆November 22–November 24, 2024 x Opening: Friday, November 22, 2024, 6:00 PM 3, rue de l’hectolitre 1000 Bruxelles * »Laisser Couler » is an independent three-day festival inviting an exploration of vulva pleasure and body awareness as radical acts of liberation. It also aims to promote a transfeminist, queer, and anti-capitalist perspective that challenges dominant ideas around vulvas, sexuality, and gender. Here, pleasure becomes a form of resistance. Inspired by a documentary in production by audiovisual artist Gamma, Laisser Couler examines the social construction of the vulva and its sexuality, with a special focus on squirting. Although initially linked to the film, the exhibition has since evolved into a collaborative and independent space that encourages a multidisciplinary exploration of the subject. Through textile installations, a performative dinner, audiovisual works, workshops, and live performances, Laisser Couler invites the audience to engage in a more intimate and political understanding of bodily experiences. We are committed to making the festival welcoming, safe and friendly. All who are curious and interested in the topic are welcome. We’re convinced that gender doesn’t have to be linked to anatomy, and that there’s still a lot more to be done to reconsider and re-signify what our bodies are. 📍Location: hectolitre Hectolitrestraat 3, 1000 🕘Brussels Opening hours: Friday 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Saturday 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sunday 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM 🎟️Admission opening night: 10€ full price / 5€ reduced price + cash bar ‼️Workshops on Saturday & Sunday require registration and a fee : link in bio for tickets This is a self-managed, self-funded initiative and we support community and alternative subcultural expression, spotlighting the precarity faced by unpaid organizers under pressure. We value subculture as a vital space for experimentation and dialogue, advocating for greater recognition and support for those who sustain it. Visuals: @lasiscli
