👖 MORPHOSE is an evolving, playful, and collective furniture project led by the Gauze Collective team. Each piece of the installation is made from giant, padded jeans that can be transformed into seating, resting areas, or temporary structures.

Through the metamorphosis of an industrial garment into a collective tool, the pieces questions how we use objects and our bodies within public space.

Connected to one another through simple manipulation using straps and rivets, MORPHOSE transforms visitors into participants, encouraging play, interaction and the collective appropriation of space.

📍 @belvuemuseum

A performative workshop inspired by Art Deco and the feminine figures of the interwar period. In the setting of a living studio, the audience is invited to print and collectively compose an ever-evolving textile piece. Through a slow, repetitive, and intentional gesture, this performance questions our contemporary rhythms and celebrates the transmission of craft knowledge—between collective memory and shared creation.

A big thank you to @belvuemuseum and @museumnightfever for this invitation ✨

💶 pay what you can, recommended price 10€

Workshop description :

For an embodied journey in which we (re)honor our body an senses through the simple pleasure of collective movement, sensorial exploration, and open conversation. In the workshop we will begin by engaging the body as a source of energy and transformation. Through dynamic, music-driven movement sequences, we invite you to connect with your physical state and experience the simple joy of moving our bodies, together.
We conclude with an open discussion centering themes of pleasure from a feminist perspective.

Asking ourselves: what is pleasure? why is it urgent to talk about pleasure (today)? and how do we enhance pleasure in our everyday life?

About:

Isabella Arboleda Tovar and Ismini Slijper (also known as: The ClitChicks) are soul-sisters, feminist friends, dancers, performers and founders of FountainFest, an ongoing project project around pleasure from a feminist perspective.
