@lataqueriaboxyard is everything y’all told me it would be! Small menu by @katsujitanabe that is made to order on handmade corn tortillas. (Partner)
My favorite meat is their chorizo with the green salsa, but I also tried my first cow tongue taco here and it was soooo goooood.
Options for gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan taco lovers too!

Don’t miss this one. It might seem a little pricey for a taco shop at first, but when you get a heavy taco in hand, it will make sense. These are loaded.

Cow tongue tacos at @lataqueriaboxyard 👀🐄👅🌮. The team there told me I had to try them and who was I to argue? They were SO good. I warned them I wasn’t going to fake a good reaction if I didn’t like them, so luckily they were delicious lol.

During my weekend in Durham, I skipped the rush and spent the day exploring some beautiful local spots.

🌿 Wandered through the @thedurhamcraftmarket and @durhamfarmersmarket
💐 Picked up fresh flowers, local produce and a delicious loaf from @ninthstreetbakery
🥐 Enjoyed authentic German pastries at @guglhupfnc
🌮 Finished with authentic Mexican tacos and margaritas at @lataqueriaboxyard. The boxyard is a cool space made of shipping containers!

These are the kinds of days I hope to share more of here - simple places, seasonal experiences, and little adventures around North Carolina that leave you feeling refreshed.
