@cotopaxiquestival’s Oktoberquest weekend is in full swing! Last night’s kickoff party featured a (pretty great) singalong led by Event Director @latenotes. With hundreds of challenges to choose from and 24 hours to complete them, teams are getting out there to explore their city, #DoGood deeds, and make countless memories.

💖💚Happy #TraegerTuesday! Yes, it’s Wednesday, but I’m having a year where I keep hearing myself say, “I’m so behind!” Today I woke up in a terrible mood, feeling overwhelmed that I can’t keep up with ANYTHING, including parenting; cooking; running a business; being a supportive friend; and most importantly being a friend to myself! (Cliff notes: I know that none of that is true and my 🧠 is just lagging.)💚💖 • I’ve been sick, worn down, and so hard on myself for the laundry that isn’t done and the papers that haven’t been filed. Can anyone relate? 🙋🏽‍♀️🙋🏾‍♂️🙋‍♀️

By writing this down, I hope by sharing my own anxiety, sadness, and panic might remind you that it is normal to have down days. Here’s what I try to do: •I strive to get more sleep and downtime (meditation/reading/time with a friend) while still treating everyone else with kindness. • I let myself cry until I don’t feel like crying anymore. This totally helps.

• I watch a comedy. • I look at pictures to take in all of the kick-ass people that I’ve brought into my world. So as I panicked about what to post for “Traeger content” this week-I’ve grilled a ton but never took a good picture!-I realized that the content is already here. I pulled up pictures of my food they cooked for #thevibrantlife party a few weeks ago. Suddenly, I’m counting how many incredible people #Traeger has brought into my life. 😊And now, I can see what amazing work we’ve done together and what amazing work is to come! (Hint: Next week will be my most meaningful yet.😊💖) Here are a few of the people who made these pictures possible:
• @nicholemdailey @amandaschaefer_ and the Traeger team who organized this event at my home! • @benjaminuyeda who built the perfect island to be the center of my outdoor cooking! • @anyafernald and @berkleymc who provide us with sustainable, humanely-raised 🐄 and 🐖 .

@asianmartha who provides beautiful produce and ingredients for all the work I do!

By writing this, I can see that I am one lucky 🦆. And tomorrow, I will have a perkier waddle.
