What a founder Monday actually looks like.

🌁My view during a call with my business advisor. How can I not be distracted?! 🥹

🥨My snack break company. I’m not complaining.

🚙My car during pre school pick up and order drop off.

💤The 2pm nap. Usually about when I hit a wall. And knowing I have to leave to get my daughter from school at 230 ensures I don’t over sleep.

🎥The content I know I need to make more of. I’m doing my best, and my best changes daily!

☕️The $7 latte I could absolutely make at home… and the coffee shop that gets me out of my home office (and out of my head).

It’s messy. It’s full. And everyday is different.

If you’re a mom building something between naps, school pickups and inbox zero, I see you.

And if you need a 90-second dessert break of your own, grab a Mugsy Bakes. Comment here and I’ll send you one for free to try!

The results:
📈 Under $100K in sales → projected $200K in 2026
👥 3 new hires
💵 Funds used exactly as planned
🤝 A mentor in @launchgrowexit they still turn to for every major decision

Rachel Ransom, Aliyah Newman and Angel Hobbs launched @drinkkrave to close a gap in the market, and to grow representation in an industry where Black women founders remain underrepresented.

A year after winning Audience Choice at the Pitch Competition, the KRAVE founders prove what timely support can do.

We say yes when everyone else says not yet.

In this week’s Community Spotlight, meet Kelly Anne Parker (@launchgrowexit) — an exited founder and business advisor who built a thriving corporate gifting company from the ground up, entirely bootstrapped, and successfully sold the business to UrbanStems.

Now, she brings that hard-earned operator experience directly to other female founders—helping them launch, scale, fix their operations, and navigate the path to exit without the guesswork.

Check out her founder journey and share your thoughts in the comments below.

Something we've been building behind the scenes for months is finally ready to share 🤭

Those are our co-founders, Carrie Kerpen and Maggie Lord, at a (still secret) location, planning a retreat for our growing community of EFF (exited female founders).

Because almost no one sells and then simply stops. We keep building:
✨ to give back
✨ to make something new
✨ to figure out what this next chapter actually looks like

Not because we have to. Because we get to.

That's the whole idea behind ACQUIRED NOT RETIRED (our community for exited female founders) and this retreat is the first time that room gets together in person 🎉

A room full of women who crossed a line most people never do. If this sounds like you, we want you there.

Episode 10 of Exit-Ed is live! 🎙️

In “From Side Hustle to Acquired: A Solo Founder’s Take on Timing, Grit, and Letting Go,” Gabriela Smith sits down with Exit-Ed founder Kelly Parker, a native New Yorker who bootstrapped Send Ribbon, a corporate gifting business, from her parents’ basement and sold it to UrbanStems in 2020.

Most people aren’t naturally thoughtful. But the ones who are? You remember them. Kelly breaks down how intentional gifting bridges that gap in business relationships — and why it matters more than most founders realize.

Full episode is live now. Link in bio! 👆

building the table, week 2: the one where i almost didn’t go.

slide 1 is the text i sent @growwithcommunity on my way to soho monday night. i almost turned around 57 times. the CT traffic was brutal 😮‍💨

but @itsingridsworld is one of those people worth showing up for & i also wanted to support @launchgrowexit so i went and it turned into exactly the kind of room this series is about.

Kelly built @sendribbon from the ground up, sold it to @urbanstems, and now through @launchgrowexit she helps other founders navigate the full journey from launch to exit.

but what she really does well is create rooms where women actually connect, not just network. there’s a big difference 👏🏼

I can’t wait to tell you guys more about her incredible story!

Honestly, the best things in my business keep coming from the rooms I almost talked myself out of.

If you’ve been building mostly alone, pull up a chair 🤍
