Non-profit organization focused on promoting a culture of creativity and self-expression through skateboarding.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

After skating this place for the last time tonight, I figured it was necessary to make an appreciation post for @launchskate and it's place in my life. For years, this skatepark was a place where people could come together and share a love for skateboarding. It was an environment of growth and a place where talented individuals could express their skateboarding in unique ways.

I spent many sessions here over this chapter of Launch. From it's opening 15 years ago, I learned to ride transition in this park and always felt it was a place of progression, each time you entered the building. While this chapter closes and the organization enters a new direction, I must express my gratitude for all it has been for me.

Thank you Andy for what you've done with our community and I am excited to see what comes next for Launch Community Through Skateboarding. 🤙

A few months ago, Ethan got a skateboard just for fun… and immediately fell in love with the sport. 🛹🔥

Since then, he’s been putting in the work, learning, falling, getting back up, and pushing himself every chance he gets.

This weekend, all that passion and hard work paid off — **1st Place in his age group, right here on home turf! 🏆**

Couldn’t be more proud of this kid and how far he’s come in such a short time. Keep riding, Ethan! 🤘🛹❤️

My board for @launchskate All Hands On Deck! You can check it out with all the others at the Center of Creativity in Old Town. Closing celebration is tomorrow from 6-9!
I’m proud of how this board turned out, most of the process was free hand with little to no planning, just let my hands do the work🫡 something about self trust, something about honing in on my craft, something about the critique of Christian nationalism and the military industrial complex or whatever🙂‍↕️

My submission for this years Launch Skate fundraiser! I am so grateful for the opportunity to design and paint my first skate deck. I can absolutely say I felt every emotion as I designed and painted this piece.

“Hanoi Train Street”
This winter, I spent a month traveling in Vietnam with my family. Train street was a standout experience, so I wanted to capture it.
