POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
God, You showed up. The peace and healing I received at this retreat was amazing, and the glory goes only to God.
This week was not easy to step into. I was broken, challenged, and forced to let go of opportunities and things that I thought were so right for me.
But God does not leave or forsake. God has a better plan. God doesn’t make mistakes. Fully surrendering and releasing myself to Him was one of the most joyful moments I’ve experienced in my life.
Now that I walk in the freedom He has given me, the cost was worth it.
COTK college, I love you. Thank you for taking care of me.

“But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.”

This is a very very late Malaysia post! Life has been hectic but the lord is good always. Malaysia wasn’t just a fun trip or a getaway. Malaysia changed my life. The love I carry in my chest for my brothers and sisters in Christ has truly changed me and hearing the laughs of the village children whose lives we got to impact brings tears to my eyes. I found it hard to take my phone out and take pictures at times because the love was overwhelming. No matter where you go there is one thing that unites us globally and his name is Jesus. Malaysia was a touch to my heart and a comfort to my soul. And they have taught me to be more like Christ. Everything they do is led in humility and respect, their love is sacrificial in nature, giving us gifts and honor every room we stepped into. I pray for my family there that they will receive the gift that God has stored up for them through their race of life. My life is forever changed. I love you Malaysia and I love my family there.
And if I can’t go back I know I’ll eventually see them with my father

Don’t know where don’t know when
But I know we’ll meet again
Some sunny day”

the word shalom is a hebrew word that is often translated as simply “peace”, but it goes beyond that. it is peace like wholeness, everything is right; completeness, nothing is missing; harmony, everything is in right relationship; and rest that comes from confidence that everything is in Gods presence and care. if i could use one word to describe our time in malaysia, id use the word shalom.
we watched God heal people physically on a random tuesday in the middle of a jungle, we saw His love rest upon the most unlikely places and saw that you really cannot outrun His love for us, we watched hearts turn to Him after experiencing a revelation of His love firsthand, we watched Him move in obvious ways through prayers and sermons, but also in less obvious ways, through cooking for people and simply listening to their stories, we got to see Him use us in ways we could have never expected ourselves to be used, and we got to see His love surpass all our knowledge of love.
so i would use the word shalom because in every moment, there was this special peace that came with it. like the whole world stopped to marvel at His beauty, and you could feel it. like all of creation paused at its usual routines to cry holy at the work of its Creator. wholeness, completeness, harmony, and rest.
i cannot believe that God asks us to partner with Him to do things like this. so now, i come back home, with a new gratitude because i so clearly understand, more than before, Gods faithfulness, His love, His burning heart to know us, and His peace that makes me join in with all of creation, crying holy.

“Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come.’”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭4‬:‭8

terima kasih, malaysia. 🤍

Dear Malaysia,

It has been so hard to speak about you. When people ask me about you I smile from ear to ear. There are no words to express how you have changed my life. I lay in bed at night and think of you. I dream about seeing you again. Thank you for being so welcoming to us and allowing us to come into your villages to spread the love of Christ. Thank you for entrusting us to host your youth and young adult nights. Thank you for leading us into the streets to evangelize the good news of the Gospel. May God get all the glory for the beautiful moments we shared together.

There are so many things I want to say, but yet I don’t know how to say it. Going into this trip I was nervous to fly 15 hours, nervous to speak in front of crowds, and wondering how God would use me. But now, I would do anything for a 15 hr flight to be back, confident to speak about my savior , and faithfully trusting God in His plans. This mission trip wasn’t just about the pouring in but the pouring out. God poured his love into us as we poured His love into them. What a privilege and honor it is to be used by GOD to serve his people!

The way God moved in Malaysia was so powerful and He showed all of us that there is no limits to the people He can reach and the places his presence can rest. The biggest takeaway was learning to love and understand Gods most beloved creation- PEOPLE. I no longer look for the next moment in His presence, instead I’ve learned to see God in every moment, every person, and every part of His creation.

To the beautiful women in the village, you are SEEN. To the youth spreading the gospel despite the opposing beliefs around you, you are HEARD. To my friends across the world, you are LOVED. All of you are confident, bold, and worthy of His goodness. Malaysia is covered by the blood and His presence hovers over you day and night. Thank you Jesus for the way that you love the people of Malaysia 🇲🇾❣️

To the ends of the earth I will follow you Jesus.

MALAYSIA 2026 🇲🇾‼️

Going into this trip, I felt anxious about speaking, hosting, being around so many people, and evangelizing. Now, I would give anything to go back and experience it all over again.

A lot of people see missions as simply going out and changing the world around you, and that’s true. But God also had something ordained for every single one of us on this trip. From being stretched in uncomfortable situations to stepping into places we had never been before, we all leaned in and told God, “Use us.” And He did.

This trip changed me in ways I can’t fully explain.

Thank you to everyone who was on this trip. You have shown me what it means to step out of my comfort zone and do life with Gods people. I laughed so much on this trip and it showed me what it’s like to do life with my brothers and sisters. I wouldn’t trade you guys for the world!

I can’t begin to express how thankful I am for every person who donated, prayed, and supported me so I could be part of this mission. Your generosity made an eternal impact, and I truly believe God sees every sacrifice that was made.

EPCC — you guys are amazing. From the very first Sunday we attended, I could feel God’s presence in that place. From the church to the people, you are experiencing the true nature and love of God. I feel so blessed to have witnessed what God is doing through EPCC and throughout Malaysia.

God is going to move powerfully through His house in Malaysia because of the sacrifices, faith, and obedience of His people. He sees your hearts, and I believe the heart of Malaysia belongs to Him.

Keep going, EPCC. Church of The King loves you.
