Magic moments in the snow ❄️ @laura_livewell - after listening to Laura’s recent podcast all about gratitude I went for a little stroll in the snow to do some magic hunting 💫 I took the time to be present, moved with intention & actually looked around to take in my surroundings. What a blissful time I had…the snow glistening on the branches, snowy foot prints, snow covered houses & the stunning hills I’m so lucky to be surrounded by…I was overwhelmed with gratitude & I honestly felt so blessed to be able to have a little stroll in snow - magic hunting really does lift your spirits, fills your cup back up & is pure joy for the soul 🙌🏻🫶🏻🤍🧠 #livewellwithlaura #gratitude #winterwalks #snowystroll #magichunting

This fitness / nutrition / life malarkey is a lot easier with an amazing coach and great circle of ladies around you cheering you on and supporting each other. Had such a great day yesterday at the livewell meet up.

From June to Oct. Back in February I joined the gym, I’d been doing home workouts for 4 years and was in a great routine with them but I knew I needed access to heavier weights. However the gym terrified me and I was soooo out of my comfort zone, I actually cried on my second visit because I was so overwhelmed. Then I May I joined group coaching with @laura_livewell because I was feeling lost in maintenance and didn’t really know what to focus on when I know longer had a fat loss goal, I also knew I need the help to push myself harder in the gym. Honestly joining coaching was the best thing I did, that extra accountability and guidance and most importantly the mindset shift! My attitude to my health, nutrition, my body and the way I talk to myself are probably the biggest changes and what I’m most proud off. That being said I am here for this definition in my shoulders and back 😂

✨ Why I Invested in a Coach Myself ✨

Yes, even as a coach I have a coach. 💡
Here’s why ⬇️

✅ Accountability – having someone check in on me keeps me consistent.
✅ Focus – it’s easy to get distracted, but a coach helps me stay aligned with my goals.
✅ Mindset – food isn’t just about calories; it’s about balance, and I wanted support with that.
✅ Confidence in the gym – having guidance has made me feel more at home lifting weights.

👉 Investing in myself has been one of the best decisions for my growth – physically and mentally.

If you’re on the fence about getting support, remember: even coaches need coaches. 💪

Monday Mantra 🌻 @latteoflovedesigns - Growth can be measured in all different ways, recognising your own growth without comparison to others can be so powerful! After an insightful check in with my lovely coach @laura_livewell she has helped me to realise right now my growth isn’t about weight loss or inches lost…it’s not about losing anything at all,it’s about what I’m gaining - I’m gaining more self- understanding/acceptance,more self compassion, adding more to my lifestyle that honours my needs and finding ways to move/live in a way that feels good to me…breaking free of unhealthy cycles, diet culture & the pressure of unrealistic expectations.I’m gaining clarity and a clearer vision of how I want to live my life moving forward since understanding I’m neurodivergent & how I don’t have to live by the rules I’ve created to mask so I can ‘fit in’.I’m starting to gain freedom & that is the type of growth that will make the biggest impact on my mental & physical health 🙌🏻🤍🌻🧘🏻‍♀️💭 #personalgrowthjourney #selfcompassion #selfacceptance #healthyliving #dowhatmakesyouhappy #goodforthesoul #positiveselftalk #focusonwhatmatters #innerpeace #itsoktobedifferent #neurodiversity #audhd

Relationship with food update:
A bit of a battle going on in my head this evening 😢

Two sides of my head are battling against each other. One is telling me I’m going too fast and I’m going to end up putting on weight, and I’m going against my identity having this “junk” when I don’t need to.

The other side is angry that if I don’t have it, I’m failing at my goal of finding a bit more balance in my life, and being able to enjoy the occasional sweet treat without putting too much thought to it.

I said I’d always be honest throughout the journey and I’m making sure to do so.

We will see what happens tomorrow…
