What is it about feminine power that is so terrifying to the status quo? What qualities and aspects of the feminine bring an existential fear to the parody of masculine power that define patterns of patriarchal oppression?

Come and join us for 3 sessions in our Jungian salon "Fairytale Kitchen" where we circle around the archetype of the witch, her different faces and facets around the world.

"For women to leave behind their former daughterly relationship to the patriarchy and ground themselves in their own feminine nature is a shift in loyalty of a huge proportion. It reverberates on the personal level, as a woman writes "It connects me with a small piece of earth on which to plant my soul", while in the past "this flame would leap out briefly, tempt fate, and disappear quickly in shame and fear."
The shift also reverberates archetypally. The reemergence of the goddess, the archetypal feminine, shakes the archetypal status quo. A new face of God appears, and She is woman. Not without great upheaval will She take her place beside the gods who have enjoyed dominance over 3000 years."

-- Betty de Shong Meador in Uncursing the Dark, p. 64.

That time has come. Join us for "The Time of Witches" starting Sunday Oct. 23rd. Link in bio.

The Witching Hour by #AnneRice is one of my #favorite #books that haunts me ever since I read it...

My feeling for #NewOrlean is with the complexity in duality… on one hand I #love the #french #architecture with #Greek revival, a touch of #Spanish iron #lace and faded Macaron hues….
the #jazz #music channels my thoughts from all corners of the #streets….
the #rich #soul of the #city seeps into my psyche with intrigue …
On the other hand, the city torments me with the darkness of deaths that haunt the #living #souls …
the filth of the city (parts) sneaks into my senses makes me gag ….
intoxicated “spirit” chasers keep me in distress….

NOLA is a sensory overload … ❤️

#Paint the most #divine #colors in the #universe on my #canvas of #life… for I only chose to see the #light and #beauty. Pity for those who can only see shades of grays …. 💋

Ps optimism dose not negate the ability to feel deeply for the suffering of the world, quite contrary…

Clean, but moody with a 1920s vibe. I dig it. 😍 @junomedspa is going to be the most luxurious medspa in Cincinnati.

Just released!
The VATICANTS' NEW MUSIC VIDEO
LIVING FOR NOTHING

The Vaticants’ new release “LIVING FOR NOTHING” ft. Militia Vox is one of the most powerful rock songs to hit the modern music scene. At the height of the pandemic, we connected & collaborated with like-minded musicians from across the globe to create the best possible team to execute this vision. Lead guitarist Marko wanted to redo this Dry Cell song for 15 years. He and Judd Gruenbaum agreed that "LIVING FOR NOTHING" has never had more meaning than today - with relevant lyrics that reflect our current social, economic and emotional climate, “LIVING FOR NOTHING” is an anthem for survival.

Vocalist Militia Vox is known for her haunting, daring and aggressively feminine style. She has worked with Rob Halford (Judas Priest), John Petrucci (Dream Theater), Twisted Sister and Living Colour.
Joining forces, The Vaticants and Militia Vox showcase their unparalleled talent, diversity and powerful collective energy on this epic masterpiece.

Formed in 2015 in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A., The Vaticants consists of lead guitarist Marko
Jankovic, violinist Sheena G., bassist J.T Lopez and drummer Lamar Little. Together they deliver a unique, original, orchestral, hard-hitting sound with a timeless symphonic edge. The Vaticants are a classical rock journey!

The music video will premiere on Tuesday 2.22.22,
the song will be available for streaming on Friday 3.25.22
and the album release will be 4.22.22.

A comedic, improvised performance off the dreams the audience wrote down for us 😂🎶🎉

To close the concert, Laura (@laurakrusemark) and I had the audience write down their dreams for the future so that we could improvise a fun piece that wouldn't have happened without their participation. I was improvising melodies based on the text I pulled out at random! It was a fun challenge for us that got some laughs 😂

Exciting news! 📢 The full recital concert has been made into an album and is now available to pre-order on Bandcamp!

If you'd like to support our work, consider pre-ordering our album!!
