Under One Roof has a fresh look. Some of the galleries swapped out their shows, so if you came last month, there's new work to see.

Under One Roof is a boutique art fair at Coastline Art Gallery with 10 Southern California galleries and art spaces in one room: Thinkspace Projects, SCAPE, Skidmore Contemporary Art, John Doe Gallery, M. Hanks Gallery, Royale Projects, 515 Bendix, Chemers Gallery, Sue Greenwood Fine Arts, and Shoebox Art. Commercial galleries, nonprofits, and artist-run spaces that don't usually share a space, all in one visit.

Shoebox's new show is Perceive You 3.0, a self-portrait exhibition I'm curating. It started as a flip of my own project, Perceive Me. Instead of asking how other people see us, each artist shows how they see themselves. Where does that picture come from, and how does it line up with the one we put out into the world?

Open Wednesday through Friday, 11am-4pm, or by appointment, through November 6.

Reception: Saturday, October 24, 5-7pm. VIP opening 4pm.

Coastline Art Gallery, 1515 Monrovia Avenue, Newport Beach.

Day 1 of the brewery Artwalk is in the books, and what a day it was!

Inspiring. Beautiful. Overwhelming. Exhausting. All at once. My feet are screaming, but every ache was worth it.

I'm endlessly grateful to my incredible intern cohort—Jordan, Rose, and Christina—you were fantastic. And to Ruby and Steve, who showed up to help me install the work, thank you. I'm so lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful people.

Throughout the day, visitors trickled in and took their time with each piece. Watching people slow down to read the captions—about body image, letting go, self-acceptance, and so much more—and seeing them truly connect with the work was everything. People were moved, and that reminds me why this matters.

So many friends stopped by, and the energy was just beautiful.

One day down, one to go. See you tomorrow for Day 2! 🎨✨

More booths from @katecarvellas miniature art fair!

The artists went above and beyond. The scale is supposed to be 1/12 but this just goes to show... Artists WANT to go bigger!!

This is the perfect venue to experiment, play, mock up, investigate and invent!

We always say go big or go home. Of course the reality is most artists can't afford to go bigger. Or they can't afford to store the work. Or they can't afford to transport it to galleries. We say, do it anyway and figure everything else out later. Follow your passion and follow where your gut takes you.

The show continues today 12-5pm in Altadena
