And just like that......Sister Act comes to an end. Another fabulous show & experience with my APOS: Ayrshire Philharmonic Opera Society family 🥰

It was so much fun, with many laughs and moments of absolute joy. Especially how proud I feel sharing that stage with my darling lassie Emma Deans Graham, likely for the last time for quite some time.

Firstly, thank you to all the cast & crew for all your support, help, laughs and love. Ya really are a special bunch and I have so many wonderful memories over the last four years, new and old friends alike.

Also thanks to my family and friends for their support, coming to the shows and listening to my aches and pains when knackered from rehearsal 🤪🤣

Thanks to our audience, as clearly community theatre wouldn't exist without your support, so thank you for coming in your droves and allowing us to entertain you. It's really something special.

And with that.....a hang up my wee performing hat for a while. I need to accept my wee body and not so functioning kidney just isn't equipped for a full week of musical theatre performing right now. Absolutely takes everything out of me and by Saturday evening I was left with nothing in the tank, which only frustrated and upset me. Anyone who knows me, knows how much I want to give my all to every performance so when I feel I can't do my physical best I get so angry with myself, that's when it becomes not worth it and I need to accept, for now, to listen to what's right for my health.

So for the time being, I will enjoy the challenges and excitement of being off the stage helping and encouraging others and maybe in the future something less strenuous, a wee play or something, might be on the cards ☺️

But right now I am just ever so grateful for two brilliant shows and experiences this year with my am dram families Apos and Kaos. I will miss the banter, the fun, the learning and the excitement of show weeks, but most importantly the people and connections you make along the way. It really is something so very special that only us lucky lot get to experience.

So thank you to every one of you on stage and off.
Love to you all 💜💜💜

✨CAST ANNOUNCEMENT✨

✨ Introducing LAURA SCOTT as MEGAN ✨

Laura is very excited for this production as most of the roles she has played in the past have been comedy, or quite ‘straight laced’, so she is very excited to take on the challenge of a much more serious and complex character! Laura has been doing Amateur Theatre for about 13 years now and she loves the buzz it brings. Laura is always surrounded by theatre as she is one of the lovely staff members at The Gaiety Theatre!

We are so buzzed to have you performing with us again! Don’t forget to buy tickets following the link in our bio! 💕

A week since opening night! I’ve got the post-show blues!

Loved being back onstage with my co-star — eight years after our previous outing (second photo . . . and might I say how well we’ve aged?!). 🎭
