Why Did We Stay? • Pourquoi sommes-nous restés?

For its seventh issue, La Furie (des Glandeurs) asks a simple question: why did we stay?
Letters, poems, drawings, photographs, illustrations, and a lot of different answers. Our brilliant intern @tia.indd designed the layout to let each one take up space in its own way. Some wander, or take over. And others refuse to behave.

We’re also happy to find contributions by our collaborators @laureibra and @gracia.s.gizmos in this issue.

This collective colouring book was created in honour of Amal Khalil, martyred by the IOF in April 2026. It was co-funded by Amal's family and friends, as well as by our donors, and was printed in 400 copies that were distributed to the children of Naqoura and Baysarieh by her entourage. Thank you to everyone who has supported this initiative and helped us reach more children ♥️

Thank you, Ziad.

A year ago today, we lost Ziad Rahbani - composer, playwright, pianist, writer… and proof that wit can be an art form.

We’re honoured to be bringing his story to a new generation through Noor’s Heroes. Here’s a little sneak peek: an illustration by the brilliant Laure Ibrahim, alongside a mosaic inspired by Hamra and the music Ziad loved.

Some voices never really leave us ❤️ 🇱🇧
