Had an excellent dog-mom day yesterday. Long walks, sat outside at Turf with 3 friends, then ended up at Benni & Co. for a puppaccino for the girls and a little rose wine for mom.

Apres dog walk - one of the best brunches in a long time. Croissants to perfection at French bistro Coquette Brasserie. Located on 12th + Arbutus. They have live music every other Thursday. Then an apres brunch extra little treat for the ladies who brunch...and their companions.

Happy #internationalwomensday
We are so grateful for our tireless and dedicated volunteers who are the foundation of our rescue.
Without these amazing women, we would not be able to do what we do!

And also to our inspirational founder, Jan, who has spent the last 20 years, tirelessly devoting her life to making the world a kinder, safer place for animals 🙏💕🐾💐

The Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival This was ny first time checking it out with Laurel and Stacey, who are return hot chocolate connoisseurs 😉

This delicious delight was from @analogcoffee.ca in Yaletown. To quote the menu "smooth dark chocolate meats tangy pomegranate topped with a bright yuzu whipped cream and a hint of aromatic raspberry." Paired with a cinnamon cookie, this was a tasty treat. But the cherry on topvi s sharing it with good friends ❤️

This was my first time checking out the festival, but it won't be my last. The @hotchocolatefest is on until February 14 in #Vancouver

If you haven’t tried Prairie to Cup yet… this is your sign 👀

If you’re in the mood for something cozy and a little unexpected, Prairie to Cup is calling 🍁
Rich cacao meets wild Saskatoon berries with a soft juniper finish — warm, comforting, and quietly addictive.
It’s a limited sip though 👀

Only available until February 1, so don’t wait too long.

You may remember last summer’s post about Planks for Paws bootcamp. Tom and Sara held Saturday morning bootcamps at Kitsilano Beach, by donation, with all proceeds going to Loved at Last Dog Rescue! 🙏

Last November they decided to pivot to adventure hikes for the winter and they go on weekly Saturday adventures, almost all dog friendly, as long as the weather is permitting. Hikes are by donation as well and you can find them, and sign up for hikes, on their Facebook page “Planks for Paws”.
Hiking is such a great way to get a bit of exercise, bond with your dog, meet new people and enjoy our beautiful British Columbia! 🐾🌲☀️🍃
