TONIGHT!! 👻 We’re opening our Los Angeles run @laemmle_royal with a Q&A featuring Scottie Thompson (“Emma”), Connor Paolo (“Albert”), and Vivian Kerr (writer/director/“Lillian”), moderated by @laurenmora! 🖤🎤🎃

Scottie Thompson and Connor Paolo are incredible as the dysfunctional Strands, newlyweds who come to the California coast to (ostensibly) have a vacation and work on the problems in their marriage, before secrets are revealed and something more sinister takes hold! Join these two remarkable actors after our screening to learn how they brought their characters to life!

Another Dances With Films in the books, another stolen valor photo to cap it off.

No, I didn’t win an award but it always feels like I did. It’s amazing how much life can change in the span of a little over a year, and being welcomed into this community with such open arms has meant the world to me. Connecting with so many kind and talented folks, making new friends and reinvigorating my love for film, that’s what makes all this worth it.

Thank you to everyone who shared their time and talent with any part of the festival, but I especially want to shoutout the volunteers who go above and beyond to make DWF what it is. Y’all are the real MVPs and I can’t wait to see what you do next!

And I can never ever thank our fearless leader & festival director Lindsey enough, for everything. Thank you for seeing me for me, recognizing my potential and letting me be a part of this wonderful, wild ride.

Thank you Michael & Leslee, Jackie, Ariana, Bennie, Lauren, Tammy and Kerim for your support and friendship!

Thank you to Autumn Palen & Dominique Booth for trusting me with producing BREAKFAST AT BERGHAIN and helping take your one-of-a-kind vision from script to set to our WORLD PREMIERE! And thank you to Jordan Sarf for making it all happen.

Thank you to everyone who worked on our BTS team but especially my BTS Legends Ryan, Steve and Logan who rose to meet every challenge. We did the damn thing!

Filmmakers, please keep in touch! I want to see more of your work and hope you’ll be just as excited to check out my own.

(I miss you all already! Call me, let’s make a movie 🤙)
