Still taking in this weekend at the @josiemusicawards .

I walked into this year incredibly grateful just to have my name called in six categories, and I walked away with the Songwriter Achievement Award for “Pick Yourself Up.” 🏆

And this one means a little extra.

“Pick Yourself Up” came from a real place. A low place. It was written through the kind of season that tests you, stretches you, and reminds you exactly where your strength comes from. To see a song that personal recognized for the songwriting behind it is something I’ll carry with me for a long time.

But these pictures are about more than the red carpet or the award. They’re the getting ready, the nerves, the laughs, the people beside me, the little moments nobody sees, and the reminder of how far this journey has already taken me.

I’m not doing this for a trophy case. I’m doing it because I believe songs can meet people exactly where they are. If something I write makes even one person feel seen, gives them hope, or helps them get back up one more time—that’s the win.

Thank you to everyone who has listened, believed, encouraged, prayed, shared a song, bought a ticket, or been part of this crazy independent artist journey.
