We had the pleasure of spending the weekend at a cabin together in Washington to hunt mushrooms, cook together, learn from each other, be on the water, make art, pee high up off of a rotting railroad bridge, process beans for winter, learn about racoon penis bones (baculum) and be surprised and delighted by one sneakily thrown into the bean bag by an elder. 💜💜💜

Spanish Sin Pena Seattle meet-up! I AM NOT YOUR PERFECT MEXICAN DAUGHTER play by @seattlerep!

Thanks to our bookclub host, @maria.chingona, our students got together to go watch the new adaptation of @ErikalSanchez’s critically acclaimed novel by award-winning playwright, @isaactheiconic & @seattlerep.

This powerful story follows 15-year-old Júlia Reyes as she struggles with perfectionism while grieving the death of her older sister.

What a great way to kick off 2023! Was so great to see so many new faces and returning faces as well for our first book club of the year yesterday.

Such great conversation of our reading pick, Erika Sánchez's I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter, and what an incredible bonus to see @seattlerep 's production together afterwards. Even though I knew what was coming, I laughed, I cried - it was spectacular.

Thank you to everyone that came out! Excited to see you all next month!

We had such a blast at the @friendsandfungi 2023 Fungi Symposium!
There were wonderful, expansive, connective, nurturing, & difficult but necessary conversations, all with grace & safety in the co-created container.

Many thanks to EVERYONE who joined, organized, participated, listened and appreciated us in our time sharing our fungal love and perspectives. @symbiiotica and I are returned to our home with gratitude and humility, enriched from the fecund intersectionality of the myriad mycelial meanderings.

We are inspired and enlivened just in time to go live with our upcoming MyCoCreation course, starting Nov 1st.
