My First El Paseo Pink Cancer Walk! 🎗️💗 What a beautiful and meaningful day! It was heartwarming to see so many people come together right here in our Coachella Valley to support such an important cause. The love, encouragement, and sense of community made this day truly special. This was my very first cancer walk, and it means so much to be part of it. Four months after surgery, I’m learning that healing doesn’t end there. It continues every day, physically, emotionally, and mentally. There are still challenges, but I’m taking it one day at a time, finding strength in the love that surrounds me, and remaining grateful for how far I’ve come. I’m beyond thankful for my family and friends who have supported me with their love, prayers, and encouragement throughout this journey. I’m also grateful for Desert Cancer Foundation for providing hope and support to individuals and families affected by cancer in our Coachella Valley. A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who walked with me, cheered us on, donated, and supported me along the way. I’m so proud that Team “Strong with Sarai” raised $650! 🎉 Every contribution makes a difference, and being able to turn my journey into an opportunity to help others makes this even more meaningful. #ElPaseoPink #CancerJourney #CoachellaValley #CancerSupport #StrongWithSarai

🐾 OUR FIRST SPAY & NEUTER CLINIC IN MECCA! 🐾 Today was incredibly special for Desert Paws Sanctuary. 💙 For the very first time, DPS sponsored a spay and neuter clinic, and we knew exactly where we wanted it to be: Mecca. We spend so much time working in Mecca, Thermal, Oasis, and the surrounding communities, and we see firsthand how desperately accessible spay and neuter services are needed. Today, with the help of an incredible community, 26 dogs and cats from Mecca were spayed and neutered. That means 26 animals will no longer contribute to the cycle of unwanted litters. 🐶🐱 A huge thank you to Animal Action League for partnering with us and for the work they continue to do providing spay and neuter services throughout the Eastern Valley. We are so grateful to work alongside people who believe in prevention and helping families access these important services. Thank you to Ray from the Mecca Boys & Girls Club for welcoming us and giving us a place to bring this clinic to the community. Thank you to Pawfect Time for generously providing FREE nail trims and ear cleanings throughout the event. 🐾 And to our AMAZING volunteers, thank you! 💙 Thank you to the students from Desert Mirage High School, Imagine School, and our Desert Paws Sanctuary volunteers who showed up, worked hard, helped families, carried food, assisted wherever they were needed, and made today possible. We also want to thank every single person and business who donated pet food to our food drive. Because of your generosity, 55 families received dog and cat food today. 💙 26 animals spayed and neutered. 55 families helped with pet food. One community coming together for its animals. For our first sponsored spay and neuter clinic, we could not have asked for a more meaningful day. Thank you, Mecca. Thank you to every volunteer, donor, organization, and community member who participated and believed in what we were trying to accomplish. We hope this is only the beginning. 🐾🥹 #DesertPawsSanctuary #AnimalActionLeague #MeccaCA #CoachellaValley Music: Rebellion in Stereo Musician: VN VideoEditor

🚨🖤🤍🤎NEW FOSTER ALERT🤎🤍🖤🚨Meet “Teddy”!!! This little dude is the full package!!! Teddy was a stray at a country club for 4 months and thankfully the wonderful maintenance guys took good care of him. They reached out to @desertpawssanctuary for help and of course they said they would help find Teddy his forever home. Teddy is a young Terrier looking pup who is extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle. He is potty trained and sleeps in his crate at night. He’s great on the leash and gets along with our dogs. He’s active and goofy and would be an amazing addition to the family. If you’re interested in Teddy please go to Desert Paws Sanctuary and fill out an application. This babe will go fast!!
