A few recent paintings from the Sierras and Eastside.
The mood is definitely saturated.

Quiet focus time = win
Leaves rustling = win
Sage and *moderated* cow smells = win
Time with art friends = win
Stoking some sillyness = win

Always a few mental notes of what i wish i could change, but all the criticism is wrapped in this bouquet of wins.

I have been thinking about this more lately...
WWMRS ?
What Would Mr. Rogers Say ?

Probably some dope positive stuff. And then you'd feely all gooey inside.

"Cathedral glow" 8x10, watercolor
"A captive audience " 11x14, watercolor
"Yellow trees, yellow sign", 11x14, watercolor

Throwback Thursday Shoutout to the Livermore Art Association Artists who participated in Art 🖼️ in the Park ❣️Great chatting to Karen Scott - who creates unique jewelry and wearable art by upcycling and repurposing beads, chains, and charms rescued from old jewelry boxes.

Bumped into mom and daughter duo May and Katherine Giang ❤️❤️ and also had good conversations with artists Anuja and Justine (met her photographer friend Betty too) and found out that Livermore has a Camera 📸 Club 🤩

Saw Nutan but she was very busy with customers 🤩 Her show is up in the Alcosta Senior Community Center in San Ramon so go check it out!

June 25, 2026 - this was my third time at the Alameda County Fair and I haven’t painted outside as much this year. I was so happy to hang out and create with my talented friends. I got an honorable mention for my watercolor along with my dear friend @greenleaf_artistry who I’ve been painting with since our first plein air paint out in Dublin.
Thank you @jenhuberette_artist for carpooling and @angelacoxart for hanging out with you in your shady and beautiful location. And thank you @debbie.wardrope for your invaluable feedback and @alamedacountyfair for a fun day painting.
