In my relationship with God and walking in my calling, it’s funny how we can become so focused on serving others and standing in the “gap” that we forget that we need someone standing in the gap for us, too. We need to be served, poured into, and prayed over. 🤍

Walking in prayer has been such a blessing to me, my community, my marriage, my family, and my church. But in the midst of the calling, how did I forget that I needed to let go of some things, too?

Well… God has a funny way of humbling you and reminding you that He’s still working on YOU, doesn’t He? 🥹

I came into church today ready to serve, only to become the one being filled up. The one being reminded. The one being prayed over.

The Holy Spirit and the presence of God overwhelmed me today, but in the midst of it all, He reminded me:

“Don’t get so lost in the calling that you forget to call ME.”

I surrender every day, and I’m still learning, still growing, and still allowing God to work in me and THROUGH me.

Let this be your reminder, too:
Don’t forget to call on God not just in your storm seasons, but in your calm seasons, too. Don’t become so busy doing for God that you forget to simply be with God. 🤍

May 6th, alone I walked into a CO Talk not knowing that one simple “yes” would be the beginning of something I didn’t even know I needed. 🥹

What started as me simply showing up turned into God leading me somewhere I could finally breathe, grow, heal, serve, laugh, and just be Christian.

Instantly, CO became more than a church. It became a place where I felt seen. A place where I felt loved. A place where I didn’t have to force myself to fit. I could just be me!

And somewhere along this journey…I got my smile back. 🥹❤️

There was a time when I didn’t know what my next chapter with church would look like. I had questions, emotions, fears, and a lot I was carrying. But God knew exactly what He was doing. He knew I needed community. He knew I needed people who would love me. He knew I needed a place where I could grow closer to Him and enjoy the journey while doing it.

Now I can truly say: I’m good here. I’m loved here. I’m growing here. I found my people here.🫶🏾

Joining CO Church wasn’t just about becoming a member of another church. For me, it was the beginning of getting back to the Christian I knew was still in there & God called me to be.

I’m so thankful for my pastors @rayvernon2 , @_nasj_ , & @parrishpurnelljr and their YES to God and the vision. Your yes helped create a place that I and so many others can now call home. Much Love & apprecation! 💯

I’m always in awe of how God constructs seasons and moments. Sunday was one of those times where you just had to be there. What I know without a doubt is that God’s hand is all over CO Church and eyes have not seen, ears have not yet heard all that God is about to do through this house. I’m honored to play a part in the vision. So deeply proud of you both @rayvernon2 @_nasj_

CO SUNDAYSSSB X BAPTISM 🙌🏾💦

This Sunday wasn’t just a normal Sunday it was our Soft Launch before CO takes over the city Columbus 🥹🔥 and on top of that we did our very FIRST baptism and my Dear Husband and Brother was apart of those first people. Baptism always beautiful to watch especially for me when I publicly gave my life to Christ in 2024 but this time to see my husband be baptized but PRAY and COVER him just was different I’m still amazed what God can do and is doing in my life and ours I’m beyond grateful for CO an my husband

Job 2:11–13 👯🏾♥️

Job’s three friends heard about everything he was going through and came to comfort and console him. When they saw how badly he was suffering, they cried, tore their robes, threw dust over their heads, and then:

“They sat on the ground with him for seven days and nights.” — Job 2:13

We can create memories, celebrate and laugh together but is your sister going to go to war for your spirit? Is she going to get dirty with you like JOB community did? Is she going to jump in the battle when you cannot say when you’re weak or broken?

It’s important to be the sacrificial love like Christ was to us and be that to your Sisters in Christ and to cover each other when you cannot cover yourself 🩷

If one of my prayers was to come true it’ll be this… I asked God for a community and my fairytale love story didn’t know how or when it would happen but I’m grateful to have been through what I have because it was worth every sacrifice 🥹♥️

Shout out to my village for cheering for me and just praying over us I never experienced anything like this just so humbled
