🏆 USA GRAND SLAM WINNERS, and off to Congressional Cup

Over the past month the team has been competing across USA in our first Grand Slam tour, part of the @worldmatchracingtour

With this being our first time in these boats and at the venues, we are super happy to take the overall win of the series having a 1st, 4th, 2nd, and 4th. As well as winning the USA Grand Slam bat trophy, and gaining us an entry to our first Congressional Cup @lbycconcup at the @long_beach_yacht_club

A massive effort from the New York team of @zach.fong5 @nickdrummo @marin.armstrongwills @jackporter___ @tuskar_sailing @hydey4558 , to take a 2nd at @oakcliffsail and a 4th at @seawanhaka_sailing

Big thanks to our sponsors @rnzys international sailing fund, Dominion Constructors, and NZL Sailing Foundation. Without them none of the sailing we do could be possible.

The pressure is real in Long Beach.

Day Three at the 61st Congressional Cup sharpened the leaderboard and delivered some very decisive races. Tapper vs Borch went head to head for what could determine the final semi-final spot… and Tapper came through when it mattered most.

Poole continues to dominate, but has shown that he’s not unbeatable. Monnin holds second. Berntsson stays in the hunt. And the final spot? Nearly decided, but not 100%.

One day left to finish the round robin. Then, only four remain. At stake? Honor, $75k, and the Crimson Blazer.

61st Congressional Cup 🇺🇸🏆

Feeling incredibly grateful. Huge shoutout to Eric Monnin @monnineric for being my crew and always giving it everything with me on the water. Thank you to Jo Murray @jo_joventure for always being in my corner, cheering me on, and celebrating every moment with me. This article means so much.

To my little brother — thank you for always being there and pushing me to be better every single day on the water. And to my parents @cvickgo @brodskyortho ,thank you for never giving up on me and for supporting this dream through everything. None of this happens without all of you. @stbonaventureschool

Another incredible year at the Congressional Cup ⛵️ @lbycconcup

@myblochmobile has been a proud sponsor since 2019 and we support the event by helping treat sailors, @long_beach_yacht_club members, staff, and volunteers throughout the week.

From recovery sessions to wellness treatments, it was amazing to be part of an event that brings so much energy, competition, and community to Long Beach every year.

Congratulations to all the competitors and this year’s CONCUP winners. Already counting down to 2027. 🙌
