Book not flying off the shelves like you hoped? 📚

You’re definitely not alone. It’s easy to put everything into launch day and then wonder what happens when the excitement dies down a bit.

Here are 3 things I’d try to keep things moving:

1️⃣ Don't expect a 1 off launch to keep your book sales moving. Keep up the momentum... keep speaking to bookshops, schools, events and anywhere else your book could find the right readers. The launch being over doesn’t mean the opportunities are.

2️⃣ Keep an eye on your stock. If a bookshop has taken your book, pop in and see how it’s doing. If they’re running low, ask about ordering more and offer signed copies if that works for them.

3️⃣ Look at what you’re saying online. Instead of constantly saying “buy my book”, talk about the problem your book solves, who it could help and why someone might want it.
