Some people cook to feed people.

I think I cook to love them.

The Father’s Table reminded me why I built The Sage in the first place. Not simply to serve food, but to gather people around a table and create space for stories, laughter, connection and belonging.

There is something incredibly beautiful about introducing people to a new dish, a new wine, a new friend, and then watching strangers become a community by the end of the afternoon.

I had the privilege of getting to know fathers, listening to their stories, hearing what they hope their children carry forward, and nourishing my own soul through their wisdom.

The laughter around the table, the conversations, the clinking glasses, the jazz in the background, and the joy of seeing people truly enjoy the food — those moments are the reason I do this.

To my incredible team, thank you for bringing this vision to life. To our chef, whose passion found its way onto every plate. To the friends who continue to show up, support and create alongside me — even through seasons like maternity and life’s many changes — thank you.

And to everyone who sat at our table, shared their fathers, their stories and their hearts, thank you for trusting us.

This is what The Sage is about.

Food.
People.
Stories.
Community.

And somehow, every time, they end up feeding me too.

"Oh to be a child again!"
Yesterday was all about nostalgia.
We celebrated @twiyo_adventures turning 1 with a day full of the games we used to play when we were young. Kati, 3 sticks, accompanied by old school music.
Our faces were painted, tutakula Patco yaani if you were a millennial, it was a field day.

Whenever I host a big group, people are always pulling me aside asking, “Are you okay?” or “How can we help?” 😅

Meanwhile I’m everywhere, laughing, dancing, checking on everyone, pouring drinks, stealing bites of food and genuinely having the best time.

Hosting isn’t stress for me, it’s a passion.
I love people. I love happiness. And I really love feeding happy people.

Friendships have held me down through some of my hardest seasons and celebrated me through my wins. They’ve shown up when things were messy, uncertain, loud, quiet, successful and everything in between.

That’s what friendship means to me, showing up, staying, laughing together, and choosing each other over and over again.

Here’s your reminder to water your friendships.
Host. Show up. Laugh loudly. Dance badly. Feed people. Love deeply.

Boarders delight ! I love chatting up my boarders when they are having their breakfast.. I read them stories , play some music, give them the latest gossip as I brush them.. I use the time to bond with them and do my checks in their poop, pee, gums and see who is not eating etc.. basically we vibing..

Boarding people’s pets is not a small affair, these are precious babies that need your full attention, play time and personalized care and that is what I love doing !

What is your to go tool?
A disposable sanitary pad/ tampons/menstrual cups/reusable cloth pads while on the trail/ expedition?
Or are you the type that postpones the period entirely by use of meds so you don’t have to deal with it?
