[Part 6/7]

"I feel like the party hat was a bit too much."

"Nope, it looks perfect on you."

───

Just a cute banter between a married couple after celebrating Kakashi's birthday.
He had to admit... While it was a big day to handle, he enjoyed it. More than he thought he would.

Just enough people were there. No big events, just a nice home celebration with those he could trust.

With everyone now gone, all he could do was sit and contemplate the life he achieved.
He had friends he could count on. A wife that wormed her way into his life, and he let in, not regretting a single time this decision.

He felt... Happy.

"There is something on your mind." Absol spoke next to him, resting her head on his shoulder, her words reflecting those he told her at the beginning of the month.

"Not a lot, for once." He replied with a peaceful tone.

"That's a good thing," She muttered against him, kissing his cheek.

"it really is."

Where Absol resides, sakura trees aren't common.
So, after a break from missions, Kakashi showed her a spot he enjoyed stopping by, to think, to read, or simply to be alone.

Except this time, he was with her.

Each petals were slowly caught by the breeze, dancing around the two, catching sunlight. The sight was mesmerizing.
Perhaps even more than the full moon reflecting on the deep lake of her village.

"If Konoha looks like that every Spring season... I could find excuses to come here more often. Just to lay there and observe the scenery."

"Well, if you're counting on staying here, don't mind if I do."

Paying attention to her serene expression, Kakashi leaned a bit, silently asking for her permission to get closer.
Since she didn't seem to mind, he gently rested on her laps.

"...Comfortable over here?"

"Very."

─── ⋆⋅ ☾⋅⋆ ───

Taking place between Classic and Shippuden (Timeskip), first real contact Kakashi made with Absol.🌸💖 #yumeship #narutooc #kakashihatake

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! ❤️

I want to thank you all for being with me on my art journey, from the very bottom of my heart. I love you all very much, and may we have many more years of art, storytelling, yapping, Betraying the Intertwined, and more! Thanks for giving me confidence over this past year— words cannot describe how much you all mean to me. Even if you didn't appear in the art, remember that I cherish you all very much, and I would draw you all if I had the time and the space 🥹❤️🤧May the year be filled with wonderful blessings and improvements!

It's a massive pain to keep having my tags denied 🥹So I'll tag those who I know I can 100% tag, and if I didn't tag you I hope you still see it!
