Just a cute banter between a married couple after celebrating Kakashi's birthday.
He had to admit... While it was a big day to handle, he enjoyed it. More than he thought he would.
Just enough people were there. No big events, just a nice home celebration with those he could trust.
With everyone now gone, all he could do was sit and contemplate the life he achieved.
He had friends he could count on. A wife that wormed her way into his life, and he let in, not regretting a single time this decision.

"There is something on your mind." Absol spoke next to him, resting her head on his shoulder, her words reflecting those he told her at the beginning of the month.
"Not a lot, for once." He replied with a peaceful tone.
"That's a good thing," She muttered against him, kissing his cheek.
