Make this winter count at @archerfieldlinks ⛳️

Using @gears.sports at the Archerfield Performance Centre, we can better understand how your body and club move, identify what influences your ball flight and track meaningful progress throughout the winter.

It’s not about building a prettier swing. It’s about developing better shots and a more reliable game for the season ahead.

Are we developing better swings, or better golfers?

I’ve noticed a recent trend in player development: more golfers are looking beyond technique and seeking support with the skills that truly influence performance.

Effective development is about understanding what matters, developing the right solutions and transferring them into performance.

I’ve explored this in my latest article, Beyond the Golf Swing: A Different Approach to Player Development.

Read via the link in my bio.

Putting progress with @mcvey7 📈

A slightly more upright posture, eyes just inside the ball and a string line to help encourage a more out-to-in path.

Start Line Progression 🎯

A simple sequence to develop start line control.

1. String Line: Establish a reliable start line.
2. Gutter: Challenge your accuracy.
3. Breaking Putts: Adjust the gutter to accommodate different breaks.

Guided → Controlled → Adaptable.

Better fit. Better setup. Better stroke. ⛳️

A simple putter change helped @kailaing7 improve his @scienceandmotionsports PuttLab performance score from 72.5% to 79.5%: a 7% improvement.

More importantly, the right putter encouraged better posture, alignment and a more repeatable stroke.

Sometimes better technique starts with better equipment.

Want a more reliable putting stroke? Start with your setup. ⛳️

Just look at @alfie._pugh ‘s progress.

By standing taller, setting the shoulders back, and positioning the hands slightly higher, he creates more space for a stable stroke.

The takeaway: Improve your posture, improve your stroke, and give yourself a better chance to hole more putts.

Bunker Trajectory Control 🏖️

Control your bunker shots by adjusting your swing direction:

• In-to-out: Low launch, extra roll
• Out-to-in: High launch, soft landing
• Straight: Mid trajectory, controlled spin

Match your path to the shot you need!
