I had the opportunity to connect with talented designers in New York this past week! It was a great experience to learn about design thinking from industrial designers and visit studios in the area. Thank you @adv_des for organizing the event, and @leadoffstudio for the tour of your new studio!

On the first day of Square One, you’ll get access to some of the best design studios around — spaces that don’t usually open their doors, opening them for us.

Studio Tours are sign-up only. The week before the conference, we’ll email you with instructions to reserve your spot, so keep an eye out.

Fifth up: Leadoff. Founded in 2016 by husband-and-wife team Jordan and Jessica Diatlo, Leadoff Studio partners with brands to design product experiences inside and out, taking a user-centric approach to create innovative work for every client. The team works out of its office in New York City.

Leadoff is the spark that gets a new business or revenue stream started with an incredible physical product—moving with speed, hustle, and determination to help clients score, and making sure it’s done with style.

In a world of expensive design conferences, we choose accessibility instead.

Square One is coming to New York City for the first time, a gathering built on creativity, innovation, and community. Expect candid talks and hands on workshops led by top designers from industry giants, staged inside some of the city’s most iconic design studios.

It’s a chance to turn relationships into real, tangible experiences, where ideas take shape, careers get sparked, and the future of design gets built. A conference like no other.

Find the full schedule in the link in our bio. Register and join us in person—we’d love to see you.

2024 was a wild year. We risked it all to start Liteyear. This is Part 1 of the story of our journey. Part 2 we launched… 🚀

I’ve been a huge @harvardbookstore fan for decades. The only thing cooler than knowing my book is on the shelf there is knowing that they now have signed copies for sale! And I didn’t even have to go rogue! 😊 Did it with their blessing — and left custom-designed bookmarks from my talented cousin @leadoffstudio too! Check it out

Designed to accompany cantilever table, sketching circles encourage a dynamic, collaborative work environment. A glass pencil holder inserted into the centre of the tabletop acts as a spindle for the circles. Ideas develop as collaborators sketch and share them around the table.
