🌺 A Little Happiness Called BLOOMS! ❤️

Some days, happiness comes in the simplest forms… a tiny new bud, a flower slowly opening, or a garden filled with beautiful colours.

Every bloom has its own personality. Some are bold and vibrant, some soft and delicate, and some leave you completely mesmerised.

From fiery reds and sunny yellows to dreamy peaches, soft pinks and beautiful purples… every flower has a story to tell. 🌸

And behind every bloom is a little patience, love and care.

For me, gardening is not just about growing flowers. It's about finding joy in the little things, celebrating new blooms and turning ordinary days into beautiful memories.

Because no matter how many flowers bloom, the excitement never gets old! 🥰

🌺 Now tell me… which bloom stole your heart today?

Swipe through, pick your favourite and let me know in the comments!

With love,
@florencea.blooms ❤️

Your plants don’t always need MORE care… they need the RIGHT care. 🌱
Before reaching for the watering can or fertilizer, take a moment to observe your plant.

Check the soil.
Look at the sunlight.
Check under the leaves for pests.
Remove old leaves and spent blooms.

Because when you start paying attention to what your plant is actually telling you, your care becomes so much more effective. 🌿✨
Observe more. Over-care less.

Save this for your next plant check and follow @florencea.blooms for more practical gardening tips. 🌱

What I Actually Feed My Hibiscus 🌺 My 7-Step Routine (Save this!)

No secrets, no 15 products. Just what works on my terrace year after year 👇

My Base - All Year:
1. Vermicompost - 1 handful/pot, every 2 months - keeps soil alive 2. Neem Cake - 1 tsp/pot with vermicompost - my pest insurance
My Boosters - When Needed:
3. Bone Meal - 1 tsp/pot when buds start forming - for strong buds 4. Humic Acid + Seaweed - 1g + 2ml in 1L water - after repotting or dull plant 5. Epsom Salt - 1g in 1L spray - only if leaves turn yellow
Seasonal Special:
6. Mustard Cake Liquid - 50g soak 3 days in 1L, dilute in 10L water - ONLY Oct to Feb, once a month. Never in summer!
Emergency Only:
7. NPK 19-19-19 - 1g in 1L spray, 15 days gap - treat, not daily food
Rule I follow: One feed at a time, with gap. Never mix all together.

Which one do YOU already use? Tell me in comments 👇

7 things I wish I knew before growing hibiscus 🌺
Not from a book. From 3 years on my terrace.
1. More fertilizer ≠ more flowers 2. Sunlight > expensive products 3. Yellow leaves usually = overwatering 4. Pruning = more blooms 5. Soil mix matters more than pot size 6. Bud drop is normal 7. Pests WILL come 😂
Which one did you learn the hard way? Tell me in comments.

But I'd grow them all over again. 💚

If your city is still getting monsoon rains... this is ONLY for you 🌧️

Monsoon mein hibiscus ko flowers se pehle strong roots ki zaroorat hoti hai — isliye 7 fertilizers nahi, sirf 3!

My cheerful monthly routine that gave me 8 buds on 6-month-old plant:

🌿 WEEK 1 - Root Chai!
Roots Tonic 2ml / 1L, once a month, only when soil is dry. Morning mein!

🎉 DAY 10 - Bud Party!
NPK 13:00:45, 2g / 1L, light evening spray at 5:30 PM

🌺 DAY 22 - Glow-up Time!
NPK 00:00:50, light evening spray as per pack, for size & color

My golden rules: Never mix together (they don't like group chats!) & never in wet soil.

Is your city still in monsoon? Comment below!

🌿 Tangled Heart (Plectranthus prostratus)

A delicate trailing succulent native to South Africa, loved for its cascading vines, tiny heart-shaped leaves, and purple stems. Despite its fragile appearance, it is resilient, drought-tolerant, and effortlessly grows wherever it finds the right conditions.

☀️ Bright indirect light
💧 Moderate watering
🌱 Well-draining soil
🌿 Easy to propagate

"The smallest things in nature often hold the greatest wonder."

Have you ever found beauty in something others might overlook?

🌸 Rain Lily (Zephyranthes grandiflora)

A cheerful bulbous plant known for its sudden bursts of blooms after rain. Delicate yet resilient, rain lilies transform ordinary garden spaces into vibrant displays of color, reminding us that beauty often arrives when we least expect it.

☀️ Full sun to partial shade
💧 Regular watering during growth
🌱 Well-draining soil
🌿 Easy propagation through bulb division

We recently decided, as a family, to start documenting Nitya’s little curiosities and experiments.

No big plan.
Just sharing the journey and seeing where it leads him. 🌱
