Opening night. ❤️✨ There are some experiences that remind you just how lucky you are to do what you do. Bringing Memoirs of Amorous Gentlemen to life has been one of those experiences. This show is daring, delicious, unexpected, and filled with so much heart. I am endlessly grateful to be a part of it and to bring Madame to life. There is also something deeply meaningful about carrying Duncan Sheik’s work forward. I wish he were here to experience this moment with us, but I hope he can feel the love, dedication, and whole hearts that have gone into bringing his vision to the stage. Tonight, we celebrate the work, the people who bring it to life, and the privilege of getting to do what we love. Thank you to Tim Marshall and Stewart Talent, Stevie Booth, Ryan Ratelle and Matt Cavenaugh for pushing me to take a leap of faith on this one…it has been a thrilling ride ❤️ Here’s to opening night. 🥂❤️ @memoirsmusical @tony_marion @ryrat @stevie_boothe @timmarshall212 @linktheatre870 @alwaysjonesboro @playbill @jonesborooccasions @bruglikas @paulwontorek @playbill @officialbroadwayworld @jaelatt @elsakeefe @sophiaannecaruso @leannejantonio @marc_delacruz @dee_powers_hol @matt.cavenaugh @richieridge @nkekio #musicaltheater #broadway #duncansheik #newyorkcitytheatre #offbroadway

Three years in the making and we’ve finally made it to opening night. I’m so grateful for all of the amazing people, hard work, and beautiful music making I’ve experienced while helping to put this show together. Of course, immense gratitude goes to the king- my boss, mentor, and off-the-clock friend- @ormatias for dragging me along to the club with him. And thank goodness for team music- @parkmujin @leigh_delano @jesseray_on_drums @cmkeelan @senyahanad @taylorjwmusic @ben_plays_bass - without whom I would have surely gone mad. Truly the best team! Congrats to everybody on an amazing achievement!

best team ever. 🥚 happy opening, @memoirs. it was always the dream to make big, messy musicals in the greatest city in the world. that rob trusted me to be his associate director on this show has made that dream the most vivid reality. brava to all the spectacular artists on opening our crazy, (not so) little show.

素敵な作品に出会わせてくださった製作チームの皆さま、 @daily_sun_new_york ありがとうございました xo just previewed @memoirsmusical off-broadway, and I’m impatiently counting down the days until you can experience it too! a breathtaking production by a spectacular team ⭐ mentally still at @memoirsmusical
